Kim Kardashian honored at CFDA Awards, calls for body inclusivity as fans worry about her 'emaciated' look
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Kim Kardashian has been awarded the Amazon Innovation Award at the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Fashion Awards on Monday, November 7, for her shapewear brand SKIMS. The brand, which was launched on September 10, 2019, has been lauded for its “diverse” and “inclusive” selection of models and collections, including the brand's signature Fits Everybody collection showed by legendary models Heidi Klum, Tyra Banks, Alessandra Ambrosio and Candice Swanepoel in April.
Hosted by actress Natasha Lyonne, noted designers and CFDA members Joseph Altuzarra, Gabriela Hearst, Aurora James, Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McColloug, the award show saw the arrival of the 42-year-old Kim in a black latex mini by Dolce & Gabbana. To complete her look, Kim opted for a slicked-back hairstyle and soft monochromatic makeup. Kim, who received the award from Martha Stewart, said, while talking about SKIMS, "We have put a strong emphasis since our launch on continuing to shape the industry to embrace size equality and diversity as a fixture and not just a trend and I see so many of you are doing just that," reported the Independent.

Weight loss once again...
Even though her inclusive collection has been praised there have been many concerns about Kim’s sudden and drastic weight loss. Kim, who recently posed in a SKIMS new Lounge collection wearing a black corset matched with black sweatpants just two days ago, has caused her fans to claim that her waist was disappearing. Not just that, days prior to these pictures, she also shared a new photo in a skintight body-con dress which made fans fear that she has lost too much weight.
Mystique for Halloween
On October 31, Kim was dressed as the popular X-Men character Mystique donning bright red hair and a custom VEX Latex Mystique costume created by Laura Petrielli Pulice. While many appreciated her look, on the other hand, many pointed out her shrinking waist. One user wrote, "Kim Kardashian legit looks sick. How much weight is she trying to lose?" Another wrote, "She needs to gain to weight back to balance it out and remove whatever mess that's in there." While an individual commented by saying, "That butt ruins it. Mystique didn’t look like that."

Marilyn Monroe Met Gala look
It was Kim's appearance at the Met Gala that really got her fans worried. She reportedly lost 16 pounds in 3 weeks to fit into Marilyn Monroe's dress. In a conversation with Danielle Pergament for Allure in August, she mentioned that she consumed meat as part of her strict diet to fit into the iconic dress. As previously reported, Kim admitted that during her first trial session of the outfit, she cried because she could not fit into it. Netizens expressed their disgust towards the diet and as one of them said, "Kim Kardashian wearing Marilyn Monroe’s dress is SO iconic but the crash diet she went on to fit into the dress is so unhealthy, scary, damaging and promotes unrealistic beauty standards even further. #MetGala2022 #MetGala"
