Kandi Burruss reveals if she's Night Angel in 'The Masked Singer', Marlo calls Eva 'b***h diva' in WWHL
'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' castmates Kandi Burruss and Marlo Hampton joined host Andy Cohen in 'Watch What Happens Live' on Sunday, April 19. Andy started the episode by clearing the air with Kandi about her baby shower, which was a part of Sunday's 'RHOA' episode that aired before 'WWHL'.
The late-night show host wanted to know if Kandi had taken "inspiration" from his baby shower theme, 'A Star is Born'. Kandi clarified that she was locked up in the 'Big Brother' ('Celebrity Big Brother' Season 2) house when Andy had his baby shower and she wasn't aware of it until he told her, so that was that.
Andy also addressed the issues that stand between her mother Joyce Jones and husband Todd Tucker. On being asked why Jones is so distrustful of Tucker when it comes to money, Burruss maintained that she has no clue because he's made way more money, putting together the whole 'Old Lady Gang' franchise, a spin-off to 'RHOA' and it's made money for Jones as well, so she really doesn't know. She also mentioned that she was very happy with the second apology that Todd offered at her baby shower and she was ready to put behind all their problems at that moment because she hates when they argue.
Kandi also had a few harsh words for Wendy Williams. Kandi's fellow castmate NeNe's friendship with Wendy just came to light and also the fact that NeNe has the latter on speed dial. Regarding the same, Kandi mentioned that she hates the way Wendy describes Nene like "an over-there person". She said it doesn't sound like a real friendship to her because one is not supposed to say that their friend is an "over-there person". For her, it just means that these are the people one would associate only sometimes and that is a problem.
On NeNe's claims that Kenya Moore and Marc Daly are not really married and Kenya froze someone else's eggs to get pregnant. Kandi mentioned that she thinks it's "BS". She doesn't understand why someone would say things like that when they are clearly married. Getting married overseas doesn't mean one hasn't filed their paperwork and she also questioned is NeNe thinks she's from the APB to go looking after people's paperwork at the court offices. "What's going on?" she exclaimed.
Responding to speculations about Kandi being the Night Angel from Fox show 'The Masked Singer', she said they've been guessing her name for the past two seasons. She added that in the current season too, viewers are claiming that she is behind the mask, so she's not really going to talk about it. However, like others, Andy too thinks she's the Night Angel.
Coming to Marlo, Andy asked her why she called Eva a diva to producers. She mentioned that she didn't mean it in a good way, she meant it in a "b***h diva" way because she's very mean to producers. Marlo said Eva has not been around for that long to do things like that and that she came on the show "struggling".
"Calm down, you are not NeNe or Kandi to do that s**t. You are not even me. You are barely making my coin and you have a peach so relax okay?" said Marlo. Kandi also wanted Marlo to answer if she's ever going to bury the hatchet with Kenya. "Absolutely not, so don't ask," quipped Marlo.
