Marketed as Europe’s first and biggest K-pop concert, fans were first excited for KPop.Flex being held in Frankfurt, Germany. They had roped in the biggest names in the industry from Monsta X and Mamamoo to Enhypen and EXO’s Kai. The tickets were sold out before the full lineup was even announced. With high demand, organizers promised that they would figure something out and add more tickets. But their solution hasn’t been met with the same excitement.

On February 14, KPop.Flex shared that they were adding a second concert date and increasing their lineup. Along with the May 14 concert, there will be a second-day concert on May 15. They also released the new lineup for May 14 including EXO's Kai, (G)I-DLE, IVE, Mamamoo, NCT Dream, Enhypen, and AB6IX. Fans noticed that Monsta X had been replaced by their labelmates, the super rookie girl group IVE. Well, KPop.Flex shared that due to unavoidable circumstances, Monsta X had to be shifted to the concert taking place on the next day.

KPop.Flex: Date, tickets, lineup and all about Europe's biggest K-pop concert

Why is Monsta X's Shownu the only idol in military who isn't active on social media?

Monsta X’s concert date changes

For May 15, the lineup includes Monsta X, AB6IX, IVE, (G)I-DLE, ONEUS, and one more K-pop act that is yet to be announced. KPop.Flex apologized to Monsta X fans and shared that ticket holders could swap their May 14 ticket for a ticket on May 15, or get a refund. However, fans find the whole thing "weird" and suspicious as the last-minute changes are being done after the tickets were sold out. They were also looking forward to celebrating Monsta X’s debut anniversary with them as it was coincidentally on May 14.

'Completely unacceptable'

Upset fans made tweets like, “It’s because they only planned the second day becuz it was sold out but mx was in the lineup since December so how can they suddenly not perform ? it’s sus and weird.” Another fan shared, “With all respect, this is not okay because they are not an appropriate replacement for the MAIN ACT that was announced before everyone else you can’t just switch to a different lineup when everyone already got their tickets????”

One fan posted, “That’s completely unacceptable. Many of us bought tickets to see Monsta X. Also when it comes for me I especially want to see Monsta X and acts from the Day 1. Why would I have to be torn apart between the 2 days? And no I can’t buy tickets for both.”

One fan claimed that KPop.Flex was not following on their promise on helping fans swap their tickets, “Stop lying cause when i emailed you about wanting to swap my tickets how to swap you said that ticketmaster sent an email but that’s a lie cause ticket master said you can only do a refund.”

Another fan claimed that they would not get a refund but a voucher, “Please confirm I will be able to receive a refund and not a voucher. I do not want a voucher for a service I will never use again.”

One angry fan pointed out the money spent on hotel and plane tickets that would get messed up because of the changes, “I’ve already booked everything and they won’t refund the plane and hotel. are u telling me i have to buy new tickets and spend LOTS of money cause you changed monsta x’s performance? how unprofessional are you kpop flex?”

Another fan claimed that KPop.Flex wasn’t even responding to their emails about ticket swaps or refunds, “This is so unprofessional!!!! And for someone who sent you email to the exact same adress awhile ago, you aren't even responding!! How can i know that my ticket has been swap and not sold at the presale?! It's make no f**king sense! Just let Monsta x perform on the 14th.”
