Jin 'Yours': Release date and all about BTS’ vocal king’s OST for K-drama 'Jirisan'
BTS members have a lot to add to their list of achievements and so does BTS’ “worldwide handsome” Jin. It is not every day that Jin, the oldest member and visual of the group, gets recognition for his stellar vocals via the medium of a K-drama. ARMYs have been consistently vocal about Jin’s mesmerizing voice and after a long wait, Jin’s voice is making a comeback for a K-drama OST.
Jin was last heard when he lent his voice in collaboration with BTS’ V (Kim Taehyung) for the single ‘It’s Definitely You’ (literally translated as ‘Even if I die, it’s you’) from the 2016 K-drama ‘Hwarang: Poet, Warrior, Youth’. Five years after that, BTS’ oldest member, Jin will be heard for the first time outside of BTS’ songs as a group.
All members of BTS last got together to voice the single, ‘Your Eyes Tell’ for the Japanese movie of the same name in 2020. This release will mark Jin’s second venture as an OST singer while it will be his first-ever solo OST single and fans are thrilled for its release. The single is titled, ‘Yours’ and will release as part of the OST for the K-drama, ‘Jirisan’ (Mount Jiri or Mt Jirisan).

BTS Jin’s ‘Yours’ will be released on November 7 at 6 pm KST (5 am ET)

Where else to Listen
The song will first be heard on the fifth episode of the K-drama, which will be aired on November 6 at 9 pm KST (8 am ET). It is reported that after the end of the episode, a special music video for ‘Yours’ will be released on YouTube at 10:30 pm KST (9:30 am ET). The song will be played again during the sixth episode on November 7 at the same time. The episode will be broadcast on the network tvN in Korea as well as on iQIYI for streaming worldwide.
About the drama, ‘Jirisan’
‘Jirisan’ (‘Mount Jiri’) depicts the story of some rangers and other employees of the Jirisan National Park, who climb through the mysterious and unexplored regions of the mountain, trying to rescue the survivors and lost trekkers. The drama is centered around a mystery surrounding the mountain's many visitors; those who come to kill, and those who come to end their lives. The first four episodes of the show were very well received globally and fans are expecting a hike in the appeal for the show due to the presence of BTS' vocal king Jin's voice in the two upcoming episodes.
