Things look very hopeful for the K-pop industry as we near the release of a second global project that marks the collaboration of one of the biggest rappers in South Korea with one of the biggest rappers in America. Jay Park from Korea is collaborating with Wiz Khalifa for the release of their official collab single ‘Break Your Heart’ that will mark a new milestone in the collaboration world.

In order to expand his network and make a more prominent global name for himself, Jay Park will collaborate with Wiz Khalifa. On November 9, it was announced by 7SIX9 Entertainment that Jay Park will be a part of a new project called ‘DREAM-X Project’ in collaboration with the American rapper. 7SIX9 is one of the newer labels of K-pop that manages some global collaborations featuring K-pop artists.

On November 9, the label 7SIX9 announced the release of a new collaborative single featuring Jay Park alongside Wiz Khalifa in what they called a dream project that would help with K-pop’s rising growth giving it a new medium as the two artists will collaborate in a dreamy RnB track. The song received a lot of love online as fans of the two artists awaited the release of the track.

The song has been grabbing a lot of attention from fans because Wiz Khalifa also posted a short video of ‘Break Your Heart’ on his social media. ‘Break Your Heart’ will be the second collaborative project in the form of a song from 7SIX9 Entertainment's global collaboration project 'DREAM-X', and it is expected to be released for the first time in Korea.

The collaborative single ‘Break Your Heart’ with Jay Park and Wiz Khalifa will be released on November 18 at 6 pm KST (4 am ET).

‘Break Your Heart’ will be released on all major music streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, MelOn, and more.



 

Teaser

Following days after the announcement of its release, 7SIX9 Entertainment has dropped several audio teasers for the new song. From its teasers, the song titled ‘Break Your Heart’ appears to be a colorful party single with soft calming beats. The teaser posters that were released over the last few days express the dreamy atmosphere of the song while presenting three-dimensional figures of the two main leads, Jay Park and Wiz Khalifa, to raise the stakes for the hip mood of the song.
