Second-gen monster rookies IVE are going to make their comeback this April and fans are here for it. After the chart-topping and record-breaking success of their debut single album, ‘Eleven’, IVE, the six-member girl group from Starship Entertainment has now announced their second single album which is special as it is dedicated to their fans, Dives. IVE made their debut back in December of 2021 but their single ‘Eleven’ was a hit on domestic charts as well as on music shows.

IVE’s unforeseen success made fans wonder if the ‘Big Three’ companies of K-pop really held any power anymore with IVE becoming the only girl group with the most number of music show wins with their debut single, ‘Eleven’. IVE were declared ‘rookie monsters’ as the girl group showed shocking growth soon after its debut. Now, almost four months after their debut IVE has announced their new single album, ‘Love Dive’ dedicated to their fans. Fans of IVE also worried about the rookies making a comeback on the same day as second-gen K-pop monsters - BIGBANG who is making a comeback after four long years.

IVE will release their second single album titled ‘Love Dive’ on April 5 at 6 pm KST (4 am ET).

According to the released tracklist, IVE’s new single album contains two high-quality tracks, including the title track ‘Love Dive’ and the b-side single ‘Royal’. The single album’s lead song ‘Love Dive’ is written by Seo Ji-eum who also wrote the lyrics for their debut song ‘Eleven’ and participated in foretelling another special synergy with IVE. The song ‘Royal’ on the other hand is written by lyricist Isran, who has worked with the songwriter Seo Ji-eum in the past.

Concept

IVE’s single album ‘Love Dive’ contains the bold and unstoppable charm and the concept of taking charge whenever one has the courage to love. With all six members of IVE boasting a ‘visual center’ aura, the girl group plans to captivate K-pop fans around the world with her splendid and sophisticated styling as well as a performance that will shine like a runway on stage. In the series of concept photos that IVE is releasing over the last few days, the girl groups dropped a group photo with all members of the group dressing in school uniforms sticking to their original concept of “teen queens”.

IVE is yet to drop the official teaser for their upcoming single album, ‘Love Dive’ but the girl group released a promotional video teasing their comeback on March 21. In the video, fans are able to hear the background music with a heavy yet magnificent sound and the appearance of IVE standing in the background of the mansion. All of the six members of IVE showed off visuals similar to Cupid, the god of love. Laden with gorgeous and sophisticated styling, the members appeared in school uniforms wearing a crown as they exuded a unique aura that illuminates the darkness.
