What is the 'Bad News' waiting ahead for 'The Bachelor' Season 27 ladies?

After the dramatic cocktail party and rose ceremony in Week 4, 'The Bachelor' Season 27 ended on a high note. But, things are about to turn dark for the cast members in Episode 5. In the upcoming episode's preview, we saw Palmer entering the room full of all 'The Bachelor' ladies. He says, "Unfortunately I’ve got some really bad news." The preview left us on a cliffhanger wondering what could probably be the bad news. Well, the bad news is that Zach has been infected with Covid.

Is Zach Shallcross OK?

Reality Steve reports, "Zach got Covid in London, hence the rest of the dates having to be canceled." The production had to quarantine Zach in order to avoid the spreading of the virus. Seeing that Zach connected with the ladies over video call it is speculated that Zach's condition is not worse. As per the reports, he recovers soon and returns back to the show from the next episode onwards.

Listening to the bad news, one of the contestants was seen saying in the preview, "Are you serious?" Another claimed, "I was not expecting that." And, in no time most of the ladies started crying, saying, "We don’t really know where we go from here." Zach seems to have been sent to a hotel for quarantine. He was seen seated in his suit inside a hotel while video-calling his fellow cast mates.

'The Bachelor' Season 27's upcoming week is 'robbed'

Zach was seen breaking into tears in the preview clip, saying, "This week was robbed." He sobs while interacting with the ladies over video call saying, "I don’t know why this happened." Before the preview ended, Palmer asked, "What are we gonna do?" It seems there will be a twist in the game and instead of face-to-face dates, there will be digital interactions. The spoiler mogul wrote, "I just know Zach did, production had to be shut down for the rest of the time there, and they did the rose ceremony over Zoom."

It is further to be revealed whether any other cast members are affected by Covid. Stay tuned to ABC to catch up with all the upcoming drama. 'The Bachelor' Season 27 drops new episodes every Monday at 8 pm ET on ABC.
