'Below Deck Mediterranean' gets exciting Season 12 update as Bravo teases 'Summer House' crossover
Bravo has officially confirmed that 'Below Deck Mediterranean' will return for Season 12, and the next chapter will feature a first for both franchises. The network has confirmed that the cast of 'Summer House' Season 11 will board the yacht as charter guests, creating the first crossover between the two popular reality series.
Bravo announced the news on August 6 with a photo shared on Instagram. The image showed Captain Sandy Yawn and chief stew Aesha Scott welcoming several 'Summer House' stars aboard the yacht. The caption read, "Yachting should be fun. 'Summer House' and 'Below Deck Med' crossover? FUN! Coming 2027." The crossover photo featured returning 'Summer House' cast members Jesse Solomon, Mia Calabrese, Lindsay Hubbard, Ciara Miller, Carl Radke, Kyle Cooke, and Bailey Taylor. New cast members for 'Summer House' will be announced later.
Season 12 will also mark the first Bravo crossover charter in the history of 'Below Deck Mediterranean.' Captain Sandy will once again lead the yacht, and Aesha Scott is set to return as chief stew after holding the role since Season 9. Bravo has not revealed the rest of the yacht crew. The announcement arrives after major changes to the 'Summer House' cast. Amanda Batula, West Wilson, and Ben Waddell will not return for Season 11, leaving room for several new housemates. Fans already know that Jesse, Mia, Lindsay, Ciara, Carl, and Bailey will return for another summer in the Hamptons.
The crossover also fuels speculation about more Bravo franchise connections. Reports have suggested that Kyle Cooke's fling with 'Southern Charm' star Salley Carson could open the door for more crossover appearances later in the season, though Bravo has not confirmed any additional guest stars. An exact premiere date has not been announced. Bravo has only confirmed that both 'Below Deck Mediterranean' Season 12 and the special crossover episode with 'Summer House' Season 11 will air in 2027.
