ST LOUIS, MISSOURI: The HGTV show 'Zillow Gone Wild' featured the weirdest and wackiest 'The Parish' church which was transformed into a living place. The abode was founded in 1898 and was previously a site for the Holy Family Catholic Church until it was closed in 2005.

Chris Frank, the CEO of the advertising agency Ted Wight, renovated and transformed the 100-year-old church into an office and a home in 2006. Chris and his wife, Megan, have been the owners of the place for the last 17 years after they bought the place directly from the archdiocese.

They spent a year converting an old church into an office space. Chris gave a tour to HGTV show host Jack McBrayer and gushed about his Church, "We kind of crave creative challenges. Our homes have not been traditional homes." However, they wanted to sell the property to someone who could take care of the place the way they used to.

Chris shared, "An ideal buyer is perhaps another creative firm, and somebody who's going to love it like we did." Megan added, "We felt like we were kind of caretakers, and we hope that the next person does the same." 'The Parish' church has been in the market for $2.5 million.

Did 'The Parish' qualify for the 'Zillow Gone Wild' semi-finale?

'The Parish' failed to grab a spot in the 'Zillow Gone Wild' semi-final list of the Top 8 wackiest abodes. However, the place awestruck the HGTV show host Jack and he loved how creatively Chris and Megan had transformed the church into a home.

The abode is committed to the divine with repurposed pews, artwork, stained glass, and the pipe organ. Jack added, "The wackadoo is having a cry room just to get it all out."
