During a family dinner with her ex-husband Frank Catania and their two children, Dolores faced questions about her living arrangements with her boyfriend Paulie. The conversation revolved around whether they were planning to move in together and find a new place to call home as a couple.
Dolores shared details about their relationship and plans, sparking a discussion among the family. "Well, we're always looking. But we're gonna have to agree on some things. There will be a compromise, of course about where we live or moving," Dolores shared.
In a confessional, the Bravo housewife shared, "It's really hard to move past where we are now because his divorce isn't final." At the moment, Paulie is in the midst of his ongoing divorce with Joanne Connell, the mother of his two kids, Brooklyn and Kameron.

Paulie Connell and his former spouse Joanne were married for 16 years, during which they welcomed two sons named Brooklyn and Kameron.
The US Sun reported that Joanne initiated divorce proceedings on February 4, 2020, a year before Paul crossed paths with Dolores. Despite their separation, the final divorce paperwork was submitted in October 2020 and is still pending judicial approval.
"There's been no really need for me to be divorced, like, it's not like I was getting married or I go around marrying people for the fun of it. So, it never really happened to that point for her or for me," he told the media outlet.
Paulie went on to say, "We're quite comfortable. Obviously when me and Dolores got more serious, now the conversation's like, ‘Okay, now it's time to close that chapter,’ and that's it. There's really nothing else."
How did 'RHONJ' star Dolores Catania meet Paulie Connell?
Although Dolores and Paulie have journeyed across the globe side by side, the details of their initial encounter remain largely unknown to their fans. However, in a post shared on Instagram in November 2022, Paulie reminisced about the first time he met Dolores.
“For you guys that don’t know this, I met this amazing woman in this photograph over a year ago,” he wrote in the caption of the Instagram post.
Paulie added, “We met at an Apple store, no cameras, no fans, no crowds, no makeup. Just two people waiting [in line] to get their phones fixed. When I met this beautiful woman I didn’t know about reality TV celebrity status or any of the above. Oh boy, but I do now. LOL.”
The two lovebirds officially started dating in 2021, but it wasn't until Valentine's Day of 2022 that they decided to make their relationship public. Since then, they have been together ever since.
