Is Kim Burgess leaving 'Chicago P.D.'? Fan favorite handles a dicey subway situation on Season 10 Episode 14
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Rarely does a spinoff show do as well as its parent show and NBC's 'Chicago P.D.' is among them. This police procedural action drama has managed to captivate audiences with its gripping narrative and captivating story progression, despite killing off several characters, such as Alvin Olinsky (Elias Koteas) who was a major character. The recent promo for Episode 14 of Season 10, titled 'Trapped', was recently released and it has made people wonder if this would be the last time they would see Kim Burgess in the series.
'Chicago P.D.' first premiered in 2014, and over time, its fanbase has only increased. The series is now in its milestone Season 10. The upcoming episode will be its 200th. The show is a spin-off of 'Chicago Fire' and part of the 'Chicago' Franchise, which also consists of 'Chicago Med' and 'Chicago Justice'.

Will Kim Burgess leave 'Chicago P.D.'?
Burgess is in the CPD Intelligence Unit. An intelligent, brave and good-hearted person, she always stood for justice and has also served as a patrol officer in the fictional 21st District of Chicago. Before joining the police department, Burgess used to be a flight attendant and she still maintains her friendship with her co-workers there. She shares a great rapport with her partner Kevin (LaRoyce Hawkins). This good-hearted police officer is played by Marina Squerciati. Burgess has instantly become a beloved character in the series. In the recently released promo, we can see Burgess in a dangerous situation involving a subway. This is not the first time she is in such a dire situation and she may pull through. We can only hope that Burgess is safe in the following episode.
Who is Marina Squerciati?
Marina Teresa Squerciati is a New York City-born actress. She had a keen interest in acting from an early age. She studied theater and gradutaed from Northwestern University in 2003 before training at the School of American Ballet. Her first Broadway appearance was in an adaptation of Ernst Lubitsch's 'To Be or Not to Be'. She has appeared in a number of Broadway shows, including 'Beauty of the Father', 'Manipulation' and 'Just in Time: The Judy Holliday Story', for which she won the Agnes Moorehead award. She appeared in the 1993 Christmas classic 'The Nutcracker', alongside Macaulay Culkin.
For Squerciati, 2009 was a memorable year as she made her feature film debut on 'It's Complicated' as Melanie. Though it was a small role, she was seen alongside some of Hollywood's best, including Meryl Streep and Steve Martin. The the same year, she landed the role on 'Law & Order: Criminal Intent' as Betsy Naylor in the episode 'Revolution'. She had several minor roles, including Cheryl Willens in 'The Good Wife', Anne Connel in 'Damages' and Cameron Swanson in 'Blue Bloods'. She also had an eight-episode recurring role in 'The Gossip Girl' as Alessandra Steele before landing the role of fan-favourite and iconic Kim Burgess in 'Chicago P.D.' in 2014. She has also reprised her role in the rest of the 'Chicago' Franchise.
