'Ginny & Georgia' Season 4 has an exciting filming update and the drama is about to get intense
'Ginny & Georgia' fans have reason to celebrate as the show's lead star, Diesel La Torraca, revealed on March 8 that Season 4 has officially wrapped filming. The actor, who plays Austin in the show, is seen hugging Antonia Gentry, his onscreen sister, Ginny, in an Instagram post after completing filming of the latest season. The caption reads: "POV: Wrapping Season 4 at 4am. The love I have for @_antoniagentry_ and this whole cast of @gngbts is indescribable! So blessed with the talent, laughter, love and memories of this crazy ride ! Another one in the 💼!! ✌🏼🍑❤️#ginnyandgeorgia #diesellatorraca #austinmiller #fyp #ginnymiller."
In October 2025, Netflix announced that Season 4 had started production. However, no official release date for the upcoming season has been announced as of this writing. With production wrapped, the series could likely return by the end of the year or the start of 2027. Netflix renewed the comedy-drama series for Seasons 3 and 4 in May 2023, with the third season dropping on June 5, 2025. Shortly after, the show's creator, Sarah Lampert, told Tudum that the theme for Season 4 is 'Cycles and Origins.' The series follows the 31-year-old Georgia Miller (Brianne Howey), her teenage daughter, Ginny (Antonia Gentry), and son, Austin (Diesel La Torraca), as she deals with life's ups and downs in the town of Wellsbury, Massachusetts.
Fans are eager to check up on Georgia and her kids after the events of Season 3, in which she faced a murder trial for the death of Tom Fuller. She managed to escape prison, despite being guilty, all thanks to her daughter. Ginny, being her mother's daughter, skillfully manipulated the evidence and got Austin to frame his violent father, Gil, for the murder. But before she can catch a breather, Georgia finds herself in another predicament as she discovers that she's pregnant. With the father's identity a secret, Season 4 promises to delve into the baby-daddy drama between her ex-husband, Mayor Paul Randolph, and her close friend, Joe Singh. To make matters worse, Georgia's drug-riddled mother, Daisy, and abusive stepfather, Ed, seemingly try to re-enter her life after tracking her down in Massachusetts, setting up major family drama. Moreover, Ginny's love interest, Marcus, headed to rehab to deal with his drinking problem, and his sister, Max, grappled with her own mental health issues the last time we saw them at the end of Season 3.
'Ginny & Georgia' will return for its next season with new faces: Ali Skovbye is set to star as Rainn, Kataem O’Connor as Isaiah, and Sunny Mabrey as Daisy (Georgia's mother). The original cast, comprising Howey, Gentry, and La Torraca, will also return to continue the story, along with Scott Porter, Raymond Ablack, Jennifer Robertson, Felix Mallard, Sara Waisglass, Katie Douglas, Nathan Mitchell, and Chelsea Clark. Before Season 4 premieres, fans can stay updated with the show by watching the last three seasons on Netflix.
