'Avengers: Doomsday' trailer has reportedly been leaked well ahead of the slated December 19 release date. One of the clips circulating on Reddit was leaked footage of Chris Evans returning as Steve Rogers/Captain America. The blurry clip shows Rogers holding a baby, which, at the time of writing, is yet to be revealed. Fans have begun speculating that it is indeed Rogers and Peggy Carter's (Hayley Atwell) child.

The teaser spans just over a minute and opens with the house Rogers was last seen in 'Avengers: Endgame.' He is seen alighting from his bike and placing the suit and the helmet on, before the footage moves to him cradling a baby in his arms. The trailer ends with the message "Steve Rogers will return in Avengers: Doomsday. Per a tweet from an X account, The Marvelous Geek, the description of the entire trailer was leaked.

  1. Steve arrives at his home, the same one seen at the end of ‘AVENGERS: ENDGAME’.
  2. He steps off his motorcycle, places his helmet on the bike, and walks toward the house.
  3. The scene cuts to Steve holding his Endgame suit, almost as if he is considering suiting up again.
  4. Another shot shows Steve holding his baby and smiling.
  5. The screen fades to black.
  6. Text appears reading “Steve Rogers will return in Avengers: Doomsday.”
  7. The final shot reveals a countdown timer leading to the film’s release.

This suggests that the Russo brothers have essentially undone 'Endgame' after giving Rogers what many regarded as the perfect goodbye. Earlier, Evans had shed light on missing out on 'Doomsday', but that appears to have changed. “I mean, it’s sad to be away. It’s sad to not be back with the band,” he told ScreenRant.  "But I’m sure they’re doing something incredible, and I’m sure it’s going to be that much harder when it comes out, and you feel like you weren’t invited to the party."

The latest comes on the back of multiple reports saying there will be four 'Doomsday' trailers, while some suggest that the trailer may release a day early, before the premiere of 'Fire and Ash'. The Russos have generated a buzz similar to their newest post when they teased the film with a blackboard similar to that of Reed Richards from 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps.'
