SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA: It is always chaos altogether when it comes to the two biggest K-pop groups in the world. Be it BTS or Blackpink, both groups have their fair share of haters and trolls however, the last few months have been exceptionally hard for V (Kim Taehyung) and Jennie of the two idol groups respectively. It all started back in 2021 when BTS members made their solo accounts on Instagram and V accidentally followed Jennie on the platform before confessing to his mistake on Weverse. 

All was going seemingly well after that but as of May 2022, a new rumor surfaced that the two idols were at Jeju Island at the same time. Back then, a synthesized photo was released online with the dating rumor stating Jennie and V, who were on their personal schedules were indeed together as a couple. Ever since that, there have been numerous rumors that fans are tired of debunking one after the other. Looks like another one of V-Jennie’s “leaked” photos have been debunked and the truth about their alleged relationship can finally be revealed.

Ever since the rumor first popped up, there have been more and more allegedly leaked photos of the two idols together that fans ended up debunking over the months. From Twitter user @gurumiharibo to Instagram hacker and editor - @rattailbot and more, there had been many accounts claiming that they had access to Jennie’s iCloud account after hacking her personal profile and were soon going to “leak” the private photos from the rapper’s phone featuring BTS V. 

Looks like the first “couple photo” of V-Jennie was a hoax afterall as an old video clip from a BTS staff. In August, @gurumiharibo released a photo where Jennie and V were seen together as the former took a mirror selfie while the latter was getting ready in a dressing room ahead of his trip to Paris for the Celine show. Considering the fact that fans had never seen the original images of neither V nor Jennie, it was believed that @gurumiharibo was a hacker that hacked into the artists' iCloud and leaked an original photo taken by Jennie. 

Now, a video clip of V getting ready has surfaced online which clearly proves that the image was screengrabbed from the said video and that Jennie was synthetically added to it using Photoshop in order to fuel the ‘Taennie (Tae and Jennie) is real’ rumor. Fans are now calling out the user for causing so much unrest in the two fandoms and for starting up a fake rumor for their own amusement.

'Can't see Jennie anywhere'

Fans are now sure that the photo was edited after all and that Jennie was not even in the room when BTS V was getting ready for his flight. One fan asked, "Uhu but there is no jennie on the video i wonder why." Another fan said, "It seems that jennie put on the invisibility cloak because I can't see her anywhere." One more fan said, "Armys are never gonna leave taehyung lmaooo yall really want us to turn against him."

Another responded, "Right like we do not care if he dates someone that’s his life! I’m upset his privacy is being messed with like this that’s all." One fan said, "The picture was modified and not real about what Jennie you are talking about delete it pls." Another fan said, "Could be anyone filming him..." One more fan alleged, "He's obviously dating the person who took the video, so the leaker coincidentally got the person video at the same time they got Jennie's photos?" One fan asked, "Where the hell do you see jennie in it?"
