Internet slams Kelly Killoren Bensimon as 'RHUGT' Season 4 star feuds with Kristen Taekman

MARRAKECH, MOROCCO: Kristen Taekman said Kelly Killoren Bensimon had a wall up on 'The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip' on a neon-colored night of turmoil. As some of the most legendary Real Housewives prepare to return for Season 4 of 'RHUGT,' Kelly's must be the most traumatic for fans, considering her continuing feud with Kristen.

Kristen and Kelly are having difficulty in paradise on 'RHUGT,' and fans are going crazy with neon. The former New York Housewives have been dealing with a continuous stream of turmoil while in St. Barts, with most of it coming to a climax in 'RHUGT' Season 4, Episode 4, which is now available to watch on Peacock.

Kelly has accused Kristen of being a big fan of the Real Housewives franchise, and Kristen has accused Kelly of erecting an emotional wall, with a lot of head scratching in between.

Dorinda Medley said it best when she compared the back and forth to a "merry-go-round routine," as she described it to 'RHUGT' producers. “You start off on the horse, the pink pony, and by the time [Kelly’s] done, you’re on a black dragon," she stated.

On Reddit, fans claimed, "Kelly is not getting the redemption arc she probably expected. She is just so weird! It’s like she has zero social skills. How has she succeeded as a realtor!?! I don’t get it!"

One user commented under the thread, "Honestly if she keeps getting this much screen time then I’m out. I can’t enjoy the show with her in it."

Another user quipped, "She is the queen of the non-sequitur...highly entertaining but we are laughing AT her not with her...." A fourth user further wrote, "Her wanting to give Kristen advice to play well to fans was hilarious."

On X, fans argued, "I would be enjoying this season a lot more if Kelly wasn’t there. She’s such a downer and still all over the place and makes zero sense when it comes to Kristen. I swear if she says fan one more time." One user begged, "Can Kelly stop it with Kristen being a « super fan »?! The fans are enjoying Kristen on this trip, let us be girlie!"

What happened between Kristen Taekman and Kelly Killoren Bensimon on 'RHUGT' Season 4?

Kelly taking personal and professional calls in the morning irritated Kristen, Dorinda, and Luann de Lesseps early in Episode 4. "It's this thing about 'I'm more important,'" Dorinda seemed to speak for the others, which Kristen agreed with "100 percent."

Dorinda said that Kelly's multitasking was her way of being envious of Kristen. Kristen emphasized the necessity of being present.

"I think Kelly feels competitive with Kristen," Dorinda said to the producers.

"She definitely wants to feel like she's part of the it-crowd, like she wants to pick up where she left off, and she thinks Kristen needs to be hazed a little bit before she could join this sorority here."

Although Kelly and Kristen tried to hold things in check on the boat, the tension resumed at Kristen's neon-themed party (later dubbed "neon madness" by Luann and Kristen). Kelly and Kristen were the first to arrive, and despite some awkward silence, the duo exchanged Aperol spritzes with ease.

Kelly even interrupted Luann's "throuple" anecdote during dinner to salute Kristen on the occasion.

She also expressed regret for being on her phone earlier in the day. But then Kelly addressed Dorinda, and what had started as a mea culpa turned into Kelly reliving how Dorinda had called her "c-nty" during the Kelly-Kristen argument the night before.

Kristen expressed sympathy to Kelly but confessed she needed assistance with her "delivery."

"I'm going to say this respectfully," Kristen said to Kelly. "You build this wall to protect yourself."

Kelly accused Kristen of the same thing, however, Kristen said she "bared her soul," referring to the day-old talk regarding Kristen and Josh's adultery scandal.

The women regrouped at the pool after supper, where the perplexing back-and-forth resumed. Kristen inquired whether anything she said about having a wall "resonated" with Kelly, adding that she was trying "really hard" to come from a nice place.

"But you're not the right tool for the right job, Kristen," Kelly replied.

Since Dorinda and Kelly reconciled over the neon-themed meal, Kelly said Kristen wasn't providing the same nurturing Dorinda did.

Kelly also claimed that if Kristen had been a true friend, she would have known Kelly was going to be "really married," saying that everyone else in the group was aware.

"Kelly, I tried," Kristen said in her 'RHUGT' confessional. "I just want to go on record and say I attempted to get to know you, and that’s on you. It’s not on me."

Later in the day, the ladies, including Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan, went on a luxury boat tour. It was a far cry from the previous evening, when Kelly and Kristen, according to Luann, were "at each other's throats."

The women ate lunch at La Petite Plage in 'RHUGT' Season 4, Episode 3, and shortly questioned Kristen about the widely famous 2015 leak that listed Kristen's husband, Josh Taekman, as a member of Ashley Madison, a website for married men searching for extramarital affairs. Kristen, who is still married to Josh, has vehemently defended him, insisting he never cheated on her.

Kristen's decision to believe her husband was seen by Kelly as "odd."

Kelly called Kristen "holier than thou" for taking satisfaction in staying with her boyfriend, while Kelly emphasized how hard she has worked as a single mother since leaving 'The Real Housewives of New York City'.
