ISTANBUL, TURKEY: Netflix's latest drama flick, 'In Good Hands 2' explores the themes of loss and grief where Firat (Kaan Urgancioglu), a suave bachelor is thrown into single fatherhood.

The movie, which is directed by Ketche and written by Hakan Bonomo, centers around Firat and Can (Mert Ege Ak), who are struggling to come to terms with the loss of Melisa (Aslı Enver).

While Firat is grappling with the challenge of newfound responsibility, Can has convinced himself to develop a time machine to interact with Melisa. Enters Sezen (Melisa Pamuk), who herself is grappling with a personal loss but acts as a glue that fills the gap between the father-son duo.

However, things are not as easy as they seem to be. As the loss of Melisa weighs on Firat, he abuses alcohol, which further deepens the rift with Can.

After being mocked by Emrah (Çagdas Onur Öztürk) at a birthday party, Firat becomes dejected and consumes alcohol. Sezen tries to make him understand, but he ignores her and continues his destructive frenzy.

Later, in a fit of rage, he explodes and gets into a fight with Emrah, leaving Can startled and heartbroken as he exits the premises, followed by Sezen. Adding further damage, he makes a snide remark about Sezen's struggle to conceal the agony of losing her brother Kerem (Altay Hacioglu) by pretending he never died, which shocks Sezen.

The next day, he visits his mother, who reprimands him of his acts and points out that Melisa was brave enough to raise Can alone. Finally, she asks him to forgive Melisa and move on, instilling a sense of encouragement in Firat to make things right.

Firat apologizes to the school and Emrah for his disruptive actions during the party and retrieves a box containing Melisa's belongings. Firat was overjoyed that Can had forgiven him, but he still owed an apology to Sezen.

He visits her at a pub where she is seen drinking. He reminds her of their first encounter, when she was in a joyful mood and was drinking heavily celebrating Kerem's admission to his dream college. Firat further informs her that he had met both her and Kerem that night and had even offered the siblings a ride home, but they declined.

Later, he learned that Kerem and Sezen were involved in an accident that resulted in Kerem's death. Overwhelmed, Sezen flees away, with Firat following her and embracing her.

The next day, Sezen and Can get a note inviting them to a special celebration in the backyard that night.

Can and Sezen get startled by a makeshift dome that Firat claims is their time machine, where he uses a projector to exhibit old memories of Can, who is happy and thanked him, and for the first time calls him Dad, which Firat reciprocates, and the two hug.

Firat then shows Sezen, videos of Kerem, which make her emotional. Finally, the trio embraces each other, indicating that they have accepted the circumstances and are ready to move on.
