'In Good Hands 2': Cast and character guide on who's playing who in Netflix's drama film

'In Good Hands 2' tells the story of a grieving Firat who finds his reason to move on in life with his son

ISTANBUL, TURKEY: 'In Good Hands 2' aka 'Sen Büyümeye Bak’ will start streaming on Netflix on May 23, 2024, and the sequel to the 2022 movie 'In Good Hands'. The movie is directed by Ketche and written by Hakan Bonomo. 

'In Good Hands' ended with Melisa's (Asli Enver) death leaving Can (Mert Ege Ak) and Firat (Kaan Urgancioglu) in a ton of grief. 'In Good Hands 2' is about moving on from a tragedy and follows the life of Firat who is grieving the loss of Melisa and diving deep into alcohol abuse. He finds a reason to find himself and life again as he is reunited with Melisa's son Can. 

The film features most of the cast in the first film with the addition of Melisa Pamuk. Here is a look at the cast and characters of this film. 

Kaan Urgancloglu as Firat

Kaan Urgancloglu is a Turkish actor who rose to popularity for playing Emir Kozcuoglu in ‘Kara Sevda’ (Endless Love), one of the most successful Turkish series internationally andthe first Turkish series to win the International Emmy Award for 'Best Telenovela', along with two other international awards. He was in the Netflix original series ‘Ask 101’ (Love 101)and also took part in the movie ‘Operation Fortune’, directed by Guy Ritchie and starring Jason Statham and Hugh Grant.

Mert Ege Ak as Can 

Met Ege Ak features as Can in 'In Good Hands' and 'In Good Hands 2'. He is a central point of the story as the first film revolves around his mother trying to find a father for him. 

The second film sees him grapple with grief and be a support for Firat who is also grieving with the same grief after the loss of Melisa. 

Apart from 'In Good Hands', he has featured in the TV series 'Actress' where he plays the role of Ates. 

Melisa Pamuk as Sezen 

Melisa Pamuk is a Dutch citizen who belongs to a multicultural family. She is a popular model and actress who rose to fame after a commendable performance in the Turkish drama 'Kara Sevda' from 2015-2017. 

She was also a part of the series 'Kurt Seyit & Sura' and then played the role of Cemre Gür in the TV Series 'Crash and Selin' in the movie 'Kilit'.

Melisa is also a beauty pageant holder, winning Miss Turkey 2010. 

Ezgi Senler as Fatos

Ezgi Şenler is a Turkish actress who made her name playing Asli in the series 'Crossroads'. She then appeared in 'Nefes Nefese' as Mercan Alacan and 'Canevim' as Mujgan Hagsever

Her foray into acting continued with 'The Shadow Team' as Punar Gumus. Her other performances include 'Uvey Anne' and 'Bekle Beni Sevgilim'. 

Çagdas Onur Öztürk as Emrah

Çagdas Onur Öztürk shot to popularity with his performance in 'The Yard' as Oktay Boran and in ‘Akrep' as Ahmet Karadag. He then stared as Thenio in the critically acclaimed ‘The Prince’, also known as ‘Prens’.  

In 2024, he has starred in 'Cadi' as Mesmer and 'Hatiran Yeter' as Kazim.

'In Good Hands 2' will stream on Netflix from May 23, 2024. To watch the film, you will need a Netflix subscription
