Hulu's reboot of the classic young adult thriller 'The Hardy Boys' is just around the corner and it's everything that 'Riverdale' tried so hard to be, but could never get out of its own vapidity to achieve. The trailer for the upcoming 13-part series is a perfect mix of teasing horror that keeps you on the edge of your seat, rooting for kids the way we did in 'It' or even Netflix's 'Dark' for that matter.

The gradual despair in the soundtrack makes those carnival scenes and jukebox fun a brilliant contrast in comparison. But if all fails, there's a stellar cast awaiting to wow you with their promising portrayal of the characters first created by Edward Stratemeyer and Franklin W. Dixon.

Alexander Elliot

The young Canadian actor plays the role of one of the titular boys, Joe Hardy. Elliot, who began with dancing at the tender age of 6, started his professional acting career when he was just 11. Today, he already is known for his works in titles like 'Locke & Key', 'Detention Adventure', and 'Being Brave'. Elliot is equally popular for his skills in the fields of singing and dancing alongside acting. And if the trailer of the Hulu thriller is any proof, he sure has a long way to go.

Rohan Campbell

As the older of the two titular brothers, Campbell is unmissable, carried the weight of keeping the family together in the wake of their mother's mysterious and tragic fatal car accident. Born to British parents and from Canada, the 23-year-old Campbell is known for his works in 'Snowpiercer', 'Operation Christmas Drop', 'Sacred Lies', 'iZombie', 'The 100', and even Netflix's 'Virgin River'.

After the death of their mother, the Hardy siblings are taken to their parents' old hometown by their father, to live in under the supervision of their Aunt Trudy, played by Santos. The Canadian actress is quite a familiar face on television, having starred in some of TV's finest shows such as 'True Detective', 'Stockholm', 'Murdoch Mysteries', and films like 'A Very Country Christmas'.

James Tupper

The Canadian actor who was most recently seen in HBO's intense drama 'Big Little Lies' as Nathan Carlson, aka Reese Witherspoon's character's ex, plays the Hardy boys' father Fenton in the Hulu thriller. Tupper is known for some pretty famous roles like Jack Slattery on ABC's 'Men in Trees', Dr. Chris Sands on NBC's 'Mercy', and David Clarke on ABC's 'Revenge'. Other titles in his credits include the post-apocalyptic thriller 'Aftermath' that aired on the SyFy network in the US.

'The Hardy' Boys is releasing with all 13 episodes this Thursday, December 4, on Hulu with episodes available for streaming from midnight itself.
