Summer House’ has recently taken over the internet with its complicated love triangle involving Amanda Batula, West Wilson, and Ciara Miller. If you’re feeling a little lost, here's a walk-through of the timeline.

A love story that didn’t go the distance

Let’s go back to September 25, 2021, a day that once felt like a full-circle moment for longtime viewers. After years of ups and downs, Amanda Batula married Kyle Cooke at her family home in New Jersey. Those who had followed their journey since the early days, back when Bravo's show first aired in 2015, saw the development as a win. Fast forward a few years, and things began to go downhill. On January 19, 2026, news broke that Amanda and Kyle had officially called it quits after more than a decade together. For some viewers, it was shocking. For others, not so much. That’s because their disagreements had been playing out on-screen for years.

West Wilson and Ciara Miller’s romance

Before the breakup, though, another key player had already entered the picture. On February 22, 2024, West Wilson, now 31, joined ‘Summer House’ as a fresh addition to the Season 8 cast. The 28-year-old sports journalist had an easygoing personality that made him stand out. By Spring 2024, viewers watched him grow close to Ciara Miller. Their relationship developed naturally on-screen, and fans genuinely enjoyed seeing Ciara let her guard down. But that didn’t last. On June 6, 2024, during the reunion, the two revealed they had gone their separate ways. The relationship had stretched through the summer and into the fall, with Ciara even meeting West’s parents. Yet, just as the show was gearing up to air, things ended.

From fallout to a possible second chance?

The aftermath didn’t fade quietly. During Spring 2025, as Season 9 aired, the tension between Ciara and West carried over. Ciara was upset that West spoke publicly about their breakup instead of handling things privately. Meanwhile, West felt he was unfairly painted as the bad guy. However, the situation seemed to get better as time passed. Ciara explored other connections within the group and shared a few moments with Carl Radke and Jesse Solomon, while West slowly regained favor among fans. There were even hints that the two might find their way back to each other. The Season 10 trailer teased conversations in which they admitted missing one another. It almost looked like a second chance was on the table.

Rumors, denials, and a friendship fallout

DeuxMoi dropped a tip that sent fans into a frenzy, as it claimed Amanda and West had been spotted acting unusually close. According to the gossip account, they were allegedly even "holding hands." By March 25, 2026, West appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and attempted to shut things down. He explained, “If it’s not clear, that’s a very important person to me, and I, like, care about her a lot.” The comment suggested there was nothing romantic going on. However, the very next day, on March 26, 2026, a report claimed that Amanda and Ciara’s friendship had taken a hit. According to Page Six, the two scrapped a scheduled joint appearance and were also noticed removing likes from each other’s social media posts.

Amanda Batula and West Wilson finally go public

On March 31, 2026, the speculation officially came to an end. Amanda Batula and West Wilson confirmed their relationship in a joint Instagram Story. “We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected,” they explained. “Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.”
