There's more to a person than meets the eye, and the protagonist of Lifetime's upcoming movie Mack Meyer (Rachele Schank) learns this the hard way on 'How I Met Your Murderer'. If you're a fan of thriller movies, then this movie should definitely be on your watchlist. The movie follows Mack Meyers, a wildly successful podcast host who discusses various true crime stories on her show 'How I Met Your Murderer'. While she's researching for a new episode, she stumbles across an old case that involved the death of her husband Henry's (Billy Armstrong) high school sweetheart Lily.
As she digs deeper, she learns that her husband might be connected to it somehow. She enlists her neighbor Oliver (Chris Zylka) to investigate further. She soon finds out that Lily's murder wasn't an isolated case and there were several other murders that took place around that time. The evidence they gather leaves Mack convinced that her husband might be a deadly serial killer. Lifetime describes the movie as: "Mack Meyer has built a large fanbase discussing true crime on her wildly successful podcast “How I Met Your Murderer.” However she finds herself the center of the story after learning her husband, Henry, was involved in the death of his high school sweetheart, Lily. With the help of her new neighbor, Oliver, Mack links Lily’s death to other murders in the area and fears she may be living with a serial killer."
