Most reality fans wonder how one gets into 'Love During Lockup'. Are the cast members actors? Is 'Love During Lockup' fake and features fake love? Well, these are a few common questions that come to one's mind when they see the show and its not-so-normal love story. 'Love During Lockup' is a spinoff of 'Love After Lockup'. The latter one features the story when the bars are removed from the life of the couples. And, 'Love During Lockup' features the story of all the first feelings of the person who falls in love with the prison inmate.
The selection process of 'Love During Lockup' is the same as that of 'Love After Lockup'. The first step is to fill out the form. The form includes 18 questions and two uploads the photo segment where you have to upload your as well as your partner's photo. The question asked in the form ranges from asking your name, age, and address, to how long have you been in a relationship with an inmate, how did you meet them, and how long have you been dating/married/engaged. This helps the casting directors of the show to find the cast members. according to Distractify, the candidates are also asked for their inmate partner's Department of Correction number. Well, there is not much known about how the casting directors further take on the application process. It is to be believed that there must be certain interview rounds to confirm whether the couple or the singles interested in the prison inmate are fit to enter the show or not.
'Love During Lockup' Season 2 is scheduled to premiere on October 21 at 9 pm EDT on WeTV.
