Dylan and Heather's love story never really took off. Even though they were seeing each other for five years, the time cannot be accounted for simply because Dylan was behind the bars and Heather would only see and interact with him during her prison visits. But even then it seemed they would go a long way given how thrilled she was on the day he was being released. But the excitement lasted only for 24 hours before they went separate.

Heather's house was flooded and so she asked him to stay at her aunt's Diane's place. She was warm and welcoming to the couple but Heather couldn't take it when Dylan started chatting with her aunt. She thought it was getting in the way of their alone time.

It took some time for Dylan to realize that but when he finally came to addressing the issue, the temper had already shot through the roof and Heather was ready to leave the house to take a break from all that that was happening. Dylan readily agreed to Heather's wishes, followed her outside and left for a ride around the town but nothing good came of it because her anger was only aggravated and resulted in some road rage, which was risky for Dylan because it could have put him back in the prison.

The next day, the now-former couple was driving again when she finally asked Dylan to leave. In the November 13 episode, we see a somber Dylan address the split and acknowledge Heather's efforts, love, and care that she showered on him when he needed it the most.

Meanwhile, fans cannot stop praising Dylan for treating their split in such a mature manner. "You are a bigger person than she is and I praise you for that. You could have lashed out and been very negative but instead, you showed compassion and kindness. You will go far. Heather is mentally unstable and needs help desperately," a fan commented on Dylan's Instagram, while another pointed out: "Do you Dylan, get your life in line and don't sweat the small stuff and be cautious of your surroundings. Sometimes those with emotional or mental issues act without thinking and no one needs to get hurt anymore - mentally or physically. I wish you well."

"Really hard to watch a nice guy going through this. Sooo happy your with family to help you through this. Mom is so nice and kind as well," a user shared. "I hope you find a good woman, one that appreciates the type of man you are! You didn’t deserve that. It was hard to watch. Good luck Dylan," another posted.

'Love After Lockup' Season 3 finale will air on WE tv tonight at 9/8c. For more information, check your local listings.
