Where was 'Home in a Heartbeat' filmed?
The eight-part series will follow Galey, a full-time Wall Street executive who doubles up as a DIY design dynamo on weekends, as she uses her extraordinary DIY skills to give homeowners a new lease on life by giving their homes a makeover.
Galey has a distinct design process because she keeps her customers' renovations a complete surprise. She moves into the house she is renovating and takes over for a few days to finish the redesign and since she is based in Florida, we believe the show is also set in Florida. It will most probably be filmed in multiple locations as Galey will go to wherever her client's house is.
What can you expect from 'Home in a Heartbeat' Season 1?
In the new HGTV series, Galey and her team will do renovations in under 72 hours and it takes a lot of late nights and months of planning to pull off these beautiful renovations. Galey meets the McCarthy family in the premiere episode, who are eager to find functionality in their home after the death of a dear one.
