B.A.P fans were shocked after Himchan admitted to sexual assault allegations after stringing them for years and claiming he was innocent. He had even continued with his solo career in the midst of the case which made many believe that he was in the clear. The first sexual assault had cropped up in 2018 and B.A.P fans had taken his side as they felt it was a troll trying to ruin his career.

A young woman had claimed that Himchan had molested her while the K-pop idol had said that it was consensual. Despite being sentenced to prison for 10 months in 2021, his fans felt that he was innocent as he continued to stand by his initial statement. However, in April 2022 he finally admitted guilt and accepted all the charges against him. He also has to raise enough money to settle with the victim by June which is when the next court hearing takes place. However, in the midst of his first court case, two more victims have accused Himchan of sexual assault.

Two women accuse Himchan of sexual assault

On May 26, reports flooded in that ex-B.A.P member Himchan has been slammed with a second lawsuit of sexual allegations. Not one, but two women have filed a lawsuit in April accusing Himchan of molesting them at an establishment’s staircase. One of the alleged victims happens to be a foreigner. According to the lawsuit, Himchan took one of the women's phones and when they confronted him he told them to go upstairs with him.

The women claim that on April 17, five days after his latest court hearing, the former K-pop idol touched one of their waists and tried to touch the other's chest and that he was extremely drunk during the incident. The two alleged victims were able to contact the owners of the establishment who sent Himchan home. The women then reported him to the police the same evening. And while there is CCTV footage of the altercation, Himchan’s lawyer shares that there was no sexual intent.

They claimed, “As you can see from the CCTV footage, there was unavoidable physical contact…Himchan was standing on a narrow and steep staircase and another customer opened the stair door and came out, and as a precautionary measure, our client’s hand touched the waist of a woman. We’d like to apologize if such an action had offended the woman.” The police are currently investigating the situation.

‘He has no shame’

B.A.P fans are shocked as one said, “The fact that he assaulted two women while IN THE MIDST of another lawsuit is just.. he has no shame. I cannot believe he was my bias back then.” Another user tweeted, “He seriously needs to go to jail.” One Korean fan swore at him, “What the hell is wrong with this b*stard?” Another fan posted, “Jesus, he's like the drunken addicted nephew that's constantly embarrassing the whole family and never learns. How many times will he fail. And please don't use B.A.P name in Himchan's news, leave my boys alone, they're still working hard for their future.”

One was worried, “Himchan...please....reach out to someone for help if you need it. Can't believe this is happening again...this is not okay.” Another compared his situation to Seungri’s, “9 counts and Seungri admitted guilt but they give him 1 year and 6 months [jail]? 🤨the same with himchan's who admitted the charges and it is not even known if he was imprisoned or not god what an injustice for the victims.”
