'Her Pen Pal' Full Cast List: Meet Mallory Jansen and other Hallmark film stars
Hallmark has a string of summer special movies lined up for its viewers. Of the many, 'Her Pen Pal' is one of them. It premieres on June 19, Saturday, at 9/8c. The official synopsis reads: "Event planner Victoria (Mallory Jansen) can't wait to attend, and plan, her best friend's Paris wedding. But when she finds out that her ex is bringing a date, she reconnects with her French childhood pen pal (Joshua Sasse)."

Mallory Jansen
Jansen is an Australian actress, born and raised in Melbourne. In 2011, she moved to New York to study drama. While at it, she was coached by some of the best in business at Stella Adler and T. Schreiber Studios. After graduation, the 'Her Pen Pal' star returned to her roots where she landed a host of roles in mini-series that were massive hits. She was a part of 'Howzat', 'Mr & Mrs Murder' and 'Twentysomething'. However, it was her portrayal of Helena Christensen in 'Never Tear Us Apart: The Untold Story of INXS' that opened up a flutter of opportunities in Los Angeles.
By mid-2013 she was in the United States, trying her luck in Hollywood. Within weeks, she scored her first recurring role of Caroline Huntington in 'Young & Hungry', which she followed up with 'Baby Daddy.' That same year, she was signed for ABC's 'Galavant' and paired opposite 'Her Pen Pal' co-star Sasse. It was a period musical comedy written and created by Dan Fogelman of 'This Is Us'. Once done, she moved on to 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D' and 'American Housewife.'
Joshua Sasse
Even though he is best known for his relationship with Kylie Minoque, the actor has done impressive work over the last few years. However, he is best known for his playing the titular role in Dan Fogelman’s ABC series 'Galavant.' He also scored a lead role in CW Show 'No Tomorrow' and DirecTV series 'Rogue' opposite Thandie Newton. He also featured in a handful of films, mostly independent features such as 'The Big I Am' and 'Frankenstein's Army'.
On the relationship front - last heard, he and Minogue split a year after announcing their engagement in 2016. "Hindsight is illuminating but not always what we want to see. I certainly wished I hadn't stressed quite as much or had such insecurity at times," the singer told Sydney Morning Herald and added: "I wish I had trusted my instincts on some occasions when I didn't and I wish I had listened to better advice when I didn't."
Lachlan Nieboer
Our guesses are, Nieboer plays Victoria's ex-boyfriend. Nieboer has some experience playing supporting roles. In 'The Princess Switch: Switched Again' he plays Antonio, aka Tony, Lady Margaret's (Vanessa Hudgens) childhood friend. Obviously, he doesn't get the girl but continues to be her confidant. The brit actor has also landed roles in 'Downtown Abbey', 'Torchwood', and 'Jo'.
