Hallmark is set to take the viewers on another romantic journey filled with love and joy with their latest offering ‘Don’t Go Breaking My Heart’. The movie, which earlier went by the title, ‘Breakup Boot Camp’, revolves around Miranda (Italia Ricci) who is a star among the troubled couples and people flock to her camp to work on their differences and make their relationship great again. But Ben (Ryan Paevy), an investigative reporter thinks there is more to it and believes he can get some scandalous story out of it.

As Miranda and Ben spend time together, they begin to form a connection. Will Ben be able, to tell the truth to Miranda in time, or will she find out and herself end up as being a candidate for Breakup Boot Camp?

The movie will be premiering exclusively on Hallmark Channel on March 27, 2021, at 9 pm ET.

Plot

The official synopsis reads: “The movie follows Miranda as she strives to mend broken relationships at her camp. She begins to form a connection with new client Ben who is also a reporter, investigating whether her boot camp is a fad or a phenomenon.”

Ricci made her acting debut in 2007 with the movie ‘American Pie Presents: Beta House’. She appeared on a lot of television projects between 2009 and 2012. However, her moment of glory in 2014 when she was cast as April Carver in the hit TV series ‘Chasing Life’. Ricci was praised for her acting on the show and was nominated for a Golden Maple Award for Newcomer of the Year in a TV series broadcast in the U.S.

Meanwhile, she gained a lot of prominence with her role in the blockbuster series ‘Designated Survivor’. She portrayed the character of Emily Rhodes and was a part of the main cast from Season 1 to Season 3.

Ryan Paevey

Paevey is best known for his role as Nathan West on the TV series ‘General Hospital’. He also worked as a body double for Robin Thicke during the production of the music video for Thicke's ‘Sex Therapy’.

Paevey is one of the most frequent collaborators with Hallmark and has featured in 9 movies made by the network. He is known for featuring in Hallmark movie such as ‘Unleashing Mr. Darcy’, ‘Harvest Love’, ‘Marrying Mr. Darcy’, Hope at Christmas’, ‘From Friend To Fiance’, ‘A Summer Romance’, ‘Christmas at the Plaza’, ‘Matching Hearts’ and ‘A Timeless Christmas’.

Creators

The movie is being helmed by Terry Ingram, while Nina Weinman has penned the story. Ingram has directed a lot of movies for the network and achieved a lot of success. ‘Angel and the Badman’, ‘The Wishing Tree’, ‘Hats off to Christmas’, ‘The Christmas Shepherd’ and ‘Tis the Season for Love’ are some of the movies he has directed for Hallmark.
