Bella Thorne's 'Her & Him': Release date, plot, cast, trailer, news and all you need to know about star's directorial porn debut
Making her transition from child star to adulthood complete, Bella Thorne is making her debut as a director for an adult film for PornHub. The 'Shake It Up' star's movie will narrate "an ethereal Romeo and Juliet-themed tale of two lovers wrestling between dominance and submission".
With a world premiere at Germany's Oldenburg Film Festival before being released on Pornhub Premium, the movie is set to break many records, and potentially even the internet.
Release date
'Her & Him' will be showcased at The Oldenburg Film Festival in Germany from September 11 to 15, after which it will be added to Pornhub's premium service.
Plot
Thorne's upcoming movie will be focused on a "sexually charged" encounter between a young couple. The movie kicks off with an edgy 20-something guy stumbling upon a surprise text in his girlfriend's phone. This interrupts their morning routine and things get a little out of control.
In the trailer for the movie, we see that there is a huge thriller aspect to the movie and that the production quality rivals that of streaming networks such as Netflix and Hulu.
Teasing the film, Pornhub's vice-president Corey Price said in a statement, "Her film, featuring a very large knife along with, well, porn, tells the Romeo and Juliet-like story of two star-crossed lovers. Their love is reckless and dangerous and transcends time and space."
Cast
'Her & Him' stars pornstars Abella Danger and Small Hands as the titular characters. Best known for her expressive engagement in the movies, Abella portrays the woman who seemingly initiates the sexual encounter that becomes the focal point of the movie. Meanwhile, Aaron Thompson, who goes by the stage name Small Hands plays her lover.
Director
Thorne, who has the titles actress, author, and musician already attached to her name, is making her directorial debut with 'Her & Him'. Best known for her roles in the Disney Channel series 'Step It Up', Thorne has proven time and again that she is no longer the child star many of her fans fell in love with.
With racy Instagram posts celebrating her fluid sexuality, she has been outspoken about the fact that social taboos mean very little to her. 'Her & Him' made even her push her boundaries, and as she says in a promotional video for the movie shared by Pornhub: "The process of shooting was very interesting because we had real-life f**king on set, which I had never shot before."
