'Grey's Anatomy' Season 17 Episode 10: Will Lexie and Meredith meet on the beach? Here's the big surprise
The makers of 'Grey's Anatomy' chose an appropriate song 'Breathe' for the trailer of the upcoming episode, which shows Lexie (Chyler Leigh) on the beach with Meredith. Fans certainly needed to take a breath after seeing the trailer, especially since well, Lexie is looking rather breathtaking.
Ever since a number of cameos have been made on the show, including Patrick Dempsey and TR Knight, fans have been urging the makers of 'Grey's Anatomy' that they want to see Lexie and Mark Sloan (Eric Dane) on the beach.
It looks like in this case the fans have been heard. Since the last couple of weeks have been rough ones for fans, with Meredith's illness and Andrew DeLuca's (Giacomo Gianniotti) death, it's about time that there was something to cheer about.

In the trailer, we just see a hand passing a towel to Meredith to wipe the sea spray from her face, Meredith looks up to see that it's Lexie. Meredith says she likes it at the beach. Lexie asks if Meredith is going to stay. While that, of course, is the million-dollar question for fans, for the moment, at least, they seem happy that Meredith is in good company, even if they are smiling through tears.

Another fan who clearly can't get over the amount of beach surprises there have been says, "DEREK SHEPHERD AND LEXIE GREY COMING BACK TO US IN THE SAME SEASON WHAT DID WE DO TO DESERVE THIS???? #greysanatomy."
But fans always want more. Now that they've got Lexie on the beach, it's no surprise who else is on the wish list. One fan said "IF WE DONT SEE MARK SLOAN WITH LEXIE GREY IN NEXT WEEK EPISODE I SWEARRRRR TO GODDDDDD!!!!! #greysanatomy."
