'#Graduation2020': Air date, time, hosts, how to stream and all you need to know about Facebook event featuring Oprah Winfrey and Miley Cyrus

Coming together for all those beacons of tomorrow whose excellence and hard work won't be awarded with a proper graduation ceremony this year, Facebook has now teamed up with Instagram and some of the biggest faces of the industry to celebrate the young shining stars and encourage them towards a brighter future. Titled '#Graduation2020: Facebook and Instagram Celebrate the Class of 2020', the event will air live on the social networking platforms, and presided over by the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Miley Cyrus, Simone Biles, Tess Coleman, Awkwafina, and more. Here's all you need to know about it!

Air date

After a week of special programs along the lines of celebrating high school seniors, the main event will be held on May 15.

'#Graduation2020: Facebook and Instagram Celebrate the Class of 2020', the event will air live at 11 am PT/2 pm ET.

Where to watch and how to stream

The virtual graduation ceremony will be broadcast live on Facebook Watch and available at facebook.com/facebookapp. Individual segments will also be posted to the @instagram account on Instagram, plus contributors’ social media accounts.

As shared in a press release, "this multi-hour streaming event will feature a commencement address by Oprah Winfrey, along with words of wisdom for the class of 2020 from Awkwafina, Jennifer Garner, Lil Nas X, Simone Biles and more coming soon, as well as a special musical performance from Miley Cyrus of her hit song, 'The Climb'."
