LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: During a tense moment on 'MasterChef: Generations' Season 14, Gordon Ramsay minced no words as he declared Daniela Peregrina's stuffed cabbage roll with lamb and pancetta, braised sauerkraut, and tomato sauce as the "worst of the night." The judges, including Joe, were visibly disappointed with Daniela's dish.

They found the concept of wrapping raw cabbage unappealing, and upon tasting, noted that the cabbage was undercooked—they could even hear the crunch, which was a major turn-off.

Joe pointed out that Daniela didn't give the cabbage roll the necessary cooking time it needed to soften and meld the flavors properly. The dish failed to meet the expectations of the judges, as Gordon noted taht the dish had failed miserably on several levels.

Who is Daniela Peregrina on 'Masterchef: Generations'?

Daniela Peregrina is a 52-year-old reiki master and online coach from Tehachapi, California, who has captured attention as a contestant on 'MasterChef: Generations' Season 14. Originally from Mexico, Daniela pursued her passion for cooking later in life after waiting many years to follow her culinary dreams.

Before appearing on the 'MasterChef' stage, Daniela established herself as a social media coach and owns her business, Daniela Peregrina Social Media & Mindset, focusing on coaching, classes, and community engagement. She holds a background in International Relations from Fundación Universidad de las Américas, Puebla, and has over two decades of experience in online marketing.

Daniela's journey into cooking was inspired during a trip to New Zealand, where she became hooked on watching 'MasterChef Australia.' She was particularly inspired by Christine Ha, a blind contestant from Season 3, whose story resonated deeply with her. Daniela binge-watched seasons of the show and felt compelled to pursue her own culinary ambitions.

Was Daniela Peregrina eliminated on 'Masterchef: Generations'?

Daniela Peregrina faced a challenging critique from the judges for her dish, which was nominated as one of the worst of the night. Alongside contestants Murt and Si, Daniela received harsh feedback for her preparation.

The judges, including Gordon Ramsay, noted that Daniela's cabbage in her stuffed cabbage dish was undercooked, which affected the overall presentation and texture of the dish. However, they also acknowledged that the stuffing, featuring lamb and pancetta, showed promise and was flavorful.

After a private deliberation, the judges decided to give Daniela another chance, recognizing the potential in her dish despite its flaws. She was placed on edge alongside Murt, while unfortunately, Si was eliminated from the competition.
