'Good Girls' Season 3: Beth on boss mode to Rio's return, storylines we definitely want to see on the NBC show

For all we know, Rio is locked up, and Jimmy is hiding this from Beth in order to not worry her, and he will make some deal and get out or even escape to ruin Beth's new business.

'Good Girls', it seems like, has been off the air for far too long, but thankfully NBC has announced the date for its return and its set to be February 16, 2020. When we the left the ladies in Season 2 there was a major cliffhanger that we were dealt with, because of which the wait has been far too torturous. Now that we know of the specific date that we can expect 'Good Girls' to return, it doesn't seem too soon to start the countdown.

When the show is back on the air, there are some very specific storylines we want to see through, and NBC better not leave us hanging:

Boss Beth

Since she stepped into a life of crime, it has become fairly evident to Beth (Christina Hendricks) and the fans of the show that she was meant for this life. She is far too good at it, and when she is not breaking the law, life seems too boring for her. How else do you explain her calling her girls and planning to get back into the ring right after Agent Jimmy (James Lesure) told her not to give him a reason to come hunting for her again?

Beth is trying to restart their business, and this time around, without a boss specifically, Rio (Manny Montana), and based on what we heard from the grapevine, she is going to expand the business with more mothers bored out of their minds and looking for any new way to make money. We are excited to see her become her own boss.

Rio rises

We did not see his body go into a bag is all I will say regarding Rio's return. To recap, Rio asked Beth to kill Jimmy and end all their problems, instead, she shot at Rio, potentially killing him. Jimmy then asks her to leave the scene, so that he can say that he shot the drug lord in defense, and that is exactly what she did. As far as Beth is concerned, Rio is out of the picture, and that is because she is yet to realize how powerful he really is.

For all we know, Rio is locked up, and Jimmy is hiding this from Beth in order to not worry her, and he will make some deal and get out or even escape to ruin Beth's new business.

New good girl

According to the show's creator, Jenna Bans, a new good girl will be added to the  mix, and she will be "a suburban mom with a questionable background and has no interest in being a ‘good’ girl.” We do not know much about her, but we do know that she is a graphic designer and that she will bring more trouble to Beth, Ruby (Retta), and Annie's (Mae Whitman) lives than they would have anticipated.

We are certainly excited to mee the new good girl, especially since a little birdie told us that Charlyne Yi may be the new addition to the "book club" aka Beth's counterfeit money operation.
