Spoilers for 'House of the Dragon' Season 1 Episode 1

It is shown that Queen Aemma (Sian Brooke) is pregnant with a babe, but she gets tired of pushing and the position of the child is still not suitable for her to push the baby out. However, when her husband, King Viserys I (Paddy Considine), was informed he chose to make a decision for her without letting her know the consequence, which eventually led to the Queen's death, but as a surprising fact, the baby prince dies a few hours after his mother's death. It was apparently gruesome and fans lost their mind while watching it. So while some appreciated and applauded them, others were offended and appalled by it. However, the creators and actors of the show were seen speaking about the scene, the actress, and more. Read more to know exactly what they said.

Paddy Considine spoke to Insider about the scene and shared his feelings by saying, "Those were hard days filming, it was tough to shoot. It's all make-believe, but it was tough."

"It was very emotional," Considine said. "In fact, it was a lot more brutal and a lot more emotional than it ends up in the final episode. And I wasn't sure about that when I first saw it. Maybe it was too much because Viserys is utterly devastated, and maybe that was too much to show early on. I think they really cut it down really well."

'House of the Dragon' co-showrunner and director Miguel Sapochnik also separately told Insider that they had shown the edit of the scene to "as many women as possible" to ask if it was too violent. He said the unanimous answer was no.
