As we know life is not always fair and is based upon the choices you make. This is similar to Queen Aemma's birth scene which is shown in the 'Game of Thrones' prequel 'House of the Dragon'. It was apparently gruesome and fans lost their mind while watching it. 'Game of Thrones' prequel 'House of the Dragon' which aired on Sunday, August 21, 2022, has shocked everyone with its first episode. Childbirth is an extremely sensitive topic and it is often depicted in different movies but 'House of the Dragon' portrayed something which has never really been shown before.

The sad truth about the scene is how masochism prevails, and consent is ignored. To some, it didn't matter but others couldn't keep calm after watching the scene. Queen Aemma who is the wife of the king sitting on the Iron Throne, King Viserys I, was shown pregnant from the beginning scene of the series. King Viserys I wanted a male heir to the throne even though he had a child alive, Princess Rhaenyra who eventually gets crowned at the end of the episode.

However, it is shown that Queen Aemma was telling her daughter, Princess Rhaenyra, that the women of the realm serve by not going to war or sitting in intense council discussions but by birthing a son who would eventually carry forward the legacy of the previous king by sitting on the Iron Throne. If only the Queen knew her death was preceding her this way. Many fans were enranged and deeply saddened because of the nonconsensual choice that Viserys I (Paddy Considine) made on behalf of the Queen, without even letting her know what was the consequence of his decision. Sadly, the queen dies while giving birth to their son, the apparent heir who also dies within a day.

One fan mentioned, "Aemma is the prime example of why abortion should be legal EVERYWHERE. Even in mars goddammit". A fan said, "I had to fast forward it bc I was so emotional." Another fan said, "They just yanked her down and murdered her. Her own husband right there and she didn't have a clue." While one commented, "I was horrified watching THAT part! Was hating #Viserys for the decision but I understood why he had to. This is a great actress! She wanted to live!!! Heartbreaking! #AEMMA #HOTD #HouseoftheDragon".

One commented, "The way they ripped away the pillow and forcefully pulled her down the bed was heartbreaking because she had no idea what was about to happen but we did". "Holy s**t that was uncomfortable to watch. F***k!!! Why am I so pissed about this? #HouseoftheDragon #Aemma #Targaryen #HOTD," a fan added. "I loved her. It was horrible. I was tempted to shut off the tv & never turn it back on. Horrible," a fan wrote.
