Denisha Dalton is all set to take Season 20 of 'The Voice' by storm. Denisha is not just talented at hitting the right notes but is also making those notes count in the bank as well. Denisha graduated from Belmont University, Nashville, in 2020 with a Bachelor's degree in music business. From the looks of it, Denisha can also do her own hair and makeup for performances, because she also has a YouTube channel where she posts makeup reviews and covers. Denisha has also taught herself the guitar and according to her resume, can play the violin. Seems like Denisha's certainly all set for the spotlight in more ways than one.

Denisha is the only singer in her family and has four siblings including her older sister who has just graduated from the police academy. Denisha is known to speak out on several issues on social media, especially on 'Black Lives Matter' movement. Mental health is also clearly important to Denisha after she lost a niece to suicide.

Denisha put out this cover of 'Jealous' by Labyrinth to honor her niece Navaeh and she encouraged her followers on social media to remember that one doesn't always have to keep it together. Denisha is also very vocal about body positivity and from what we can see on her social media, has an interesting sense of style which adds to her overall impact as a performer.

A song that is close to Denisha's heart is Camila Cabello’s 'I Have Questions'. With regards to the impact the song has had on her, Denisha says that it was recorded over the summer “when I was, for the first time, kind of feeling seen and heard as a Black woman in America by those who don’t experience the walk through life in the same shoes as me and all the other beautiful Black queens out there.” It's not surprising then that Denisha used this song to express her feelings about what the African American community endured in 2020.

Here's hoping that Denisha finds an outlet for her varied talents on 'The Voice'. 'The Voice' airs on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 pm ET/PT on NBC.
