The supernational addition to our quarantine entertainment library is here. Travel Channel's famed paranormal investigators are coming to our screens with a special titled 'Ghost Adventures: Quarantine'. Zak Bagans, Aaron Goodwin, Jay Wasley and Billy Tolley believe in the widely told hypothesis that supernatural entities feed off of fear, and the more the fear, the more malevolent the spirits become. In this four-part miniseries, they are about to put that very theory to test. Here's all you need to know about it.

Release date

'Ghost Adventures: Quarantine' premieres Thursday, June 11, at 9|8c on Travel Channel.

Plot

The fearless four quarantine themselves for two weeks in Bagans' famed 'Haunted Museum' in Las Vegas, all by themselves. The whole series is filmed by the guys, who attempt to capture any uncanny incidents and find out if the fear emanating off a person can impact dark energies attached to the world's most haunted objects that are on display in the museum. The museum has been shut due to the pandemic and the team will be the first people to visit the museum in weeks while practicing social distancing guidelines. In a turn of events, Bagans will finally make the highly-anticipated move of opening the Dybbuk Box, a haunted object that is believed to curse anyone who comes in contact with it,  to investigate its sinister energy.

Each episode spans an hour and is shot entirely by the foursome, who are devoid of their usual camera crew. They will examine the notoriously haunted areas and artifacts in the museum including the Devil's Rocking Chair and Peggy the Doll. They will also deploy some new investigative tactics and devices in their search for answers. The team's apprehension levels are bound to spike, considering the power these malicious spirits may possess. "This is by far the most intense investigation and in-depth experiment we have ever done, considering the whole tone of doing a lockdown within a pandemic lockdown... it’s as raw and terrifying as it gets," Bagans said in a press release. "Fear gives entities power, and fear is now permeating our society on a scale we haven’t experienced before. We are witnessing the amount of spirit activity greatly increase and we need to understand how this unprecedented situation affects things on a supernatural level. This led us to finally open the Dybbuk Box – a moment that will live with me forever."
