'Get Organized with The Home Edit': Release date, plot, cast and all you need to know about Netflix's home makeover show

An entire series dedicated to home organization featuring the writers of 'The Home Edit: A Guide to Organizing and Realizing Your House Goals' is making its way to Netflix soon. The series titled 'Get Organized with The Home Edit' was announced by the streaming giant on August 17 and here's all you should know about it. 

Release date 

'Get Organized with The Home Edit' is gearing up for release soon on Netflix. The first season comprises of eight parts, all of which will be available to stream, starting September 9.

Plot 

This series will chronicle the process that two master organizers follow as they go on to transform the lives and homes of their clients that also include celebrities like Reese Witherspoon, Neil Patrick Harris and organization freak Khloe Kardashian.

Clea and Joanna will be seen streamlining and making the homes of their clients as neat as possible. The Nashville, Tennesee, residents founded The Home Edit with the goal of merging conventional organization and interior design. With clients all over the country, they offer both full and virtual services through their website. Together they've penned The New York Times bestselling books 'The Home Edit' and 'The Home Edit Life'. Clea and Joanna's organization business has a lot of fans in Hollywood including Gwyneth Paltrow and Katy Perry. According to Country Living, in this new series, Clea and Joanna will be seen tackling everything from bathrooms and closets to pantries and playrooms, all with their beloved rainbow color-coordinated organization, stackable plastic bins, and more.

Actresses Reese Witherspoon has been a longtime fan of The Home Edit and she had roped them in for Hello Sunshine's 'Master The Mess' whose popularity is the reason why Netflix took note of it and announced a spin-off. She will be co-producing this series as well along with actress Mindy Kaling.
