On a trip to Napa in 2010, Joelle realized her white teeth turned a funkky shade of purple from the red wine she was drinking. It was so embarrassing! Joelle was constantly brushing her teeth in between selfies & wine tastings to get the funkk off of her teeth. The question came up: why lug around a bulky toothbrush and tube of toothpaste when you need fresh teeth on-the-go? Lipsticks refresh our lips on-the-go and are reusable & compact...why not have something like that to refresh our teeth?! FunkkOFF! TeethRefreshers was born! Joelle became a stockbroker at 22 and then successfully embarked on a two-decade career of fierce entrepreneurship.
