LOS ANGELS, CALIFORNIA: On Wednesday, February 14, Marvel's surprise announcement of the new cast and logo for the revamp of the forthcoming film, 'Fantastic Four,' on X has thrown fans into a frenzy.

The highly anticipated revival of the movie will hit theatres on July 25, 2025.

The ensemble cast includes Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm.

Fans go gaga over stellar casting choices for 'The Fantastic Four'

Fans are embracing the movie's casting and celebrating the return of the original superheroes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe

One user expressing enthusiasm for the same wrote on the X, "Can't wait for Marvel Studios' The Fantastic Four to hit theaters! July 25, 2025, can't come soon enough! Excited to see what Marvel has in store for this iconic superhero team."

The reboot film is expected to be set in the classic 1960s, adding a vintage vibe.

An Internet user shared his delight for the movie's concept and tweeted, "The Fantastic Four being set in the 60s with that retro-futuristic feel is PERFECT! Really digging the casting as well. Haven't been invested in the MCU lately but hopefully the future is..fantastic.

Furthermore, another fan praised the exceptional choice of Pedro Pascal for the role of Reed Richards, stating, "A 1960s Pedro Pascal / Reed Richard is what we need and seems like what we are getting! I'm here for it."

While another user voiced enthusiasm over the cast, "Excited for the cast lineup, can't wait to see them bring The Fantastic Four to life!"

Matt Shakman, the brainchild behind the highly acclaimed 'Wanda Vision,' will don the hat of director in the film, which has heightened fans' anticipation.

Voicing their opinions on the X, a user wrote, "Can't wait! The Fantastic Four is in good hands. Let's see what they bring to the table."

What will be the plot of 'The Fantastic Four?'

As usual, the movie's plot is being kept under wraps, although it is clear that it will draw inspiration from the same-titled comics.

The comics' premises focus on four astronauts who undergo exposure to a cosmic ray, which eventually contributes to their transformation into superheroes.

Reed possesses the power to stretch his body to enormous lengths, while Sue acquires the ability to turn invisible and deploy massive forcefields.

Furthermore, both Reed and Sue share romantic feelings for each other.

On the other hand, Sue's brother Johnny can transform into fire, granting him the capability to fly, while Ben undergoes the most dramatic transformation, being turned into a formidable entity known as the Thing.
