LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The historical drama 'Franklin' on Apple TV+ is set to premiere on streaming service on Friday, April 12.
The upcoming series, directed by Tim Van Patten, draws inspiration from Stacy Schiff's book 'A Great Improvisation: Franklin, France, and the Birth of America.'
The show will follow Benjamin Franklin's (Michael Douglas) pivotal role in persuading France to support the cause of American freedom.
When will 'Franklin' premiere?
Apple TV+ will release the first three episodes of the biographical drama on Friday, April 12, 2024.
Kirk Ellis and Howard Korder will write the scripts for the three episodes, with Tim Van Patten directing the first one.
Following the first episode, further episodes will be released weekly.
The season finale of the eight-episode series is scheduled for May 17, 2024.
