Where was 'Fix My Frankenhouse' filmed?
Renovation experts Mike and Denese will redesign the oldest homes that fans have ever seen. The husband and wife team, along with their fathers, John Butler and Peter Doyle, both master carpenters, are set to renovate vintage houses in Massachusetts. The upcoming show features six thrilling episodes and is filmed in six different cities in Massachusetts. 'Fix My Frankenhouse' has been filmed in Wareham, Dedham, Rehoboth, Millbury, Weymouth, and Hanover. Mike and Denese, who head The Perfect Vignette home renovation company, will convert the historic homes into functional modern abodes.
What to expect from 'Fix My Frankenhouse'?
HGTV has released multiple renovation shows so far. However, 'Fix My Frankenhouse' is going to be slightly different. In the upcoming show, Mike's construction skills will be blended with Denese's grasp of the client's style, and they will offer a custom finish makeover. The power couple will blend the elements of the older homes' charm with modern design, resulting in stunning and cohesive spaces. Notably, the house that will be redesigned in the HGTV show may have previously undergone renovations from several owners over time and ended up becoming a Frankenhouse.
Mike and Denese will take on an early 1900s family property wrought with tight and dysfunctional spaces but flaunting special historic features. They will tear down walls, create an open kitchen and dining area and build a large mudroom and spa-like bathrooms to restore order to the home.
'Fix My Frankenhouse' airs every Sunday at 9 pm ET on HGTV. You can catch the new episode the same day on Discovery+.
