MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA: Sister duo, Lindsey Uselding, and Kirsten Meehan are on their way to lend a hand! HGTV has cast the siblings' emergency restoration experts for its upcoming series, 'Renovation 911'. This new home restoration series comes after the network's previous successful shows like 'Flip or Flop', 'Property Brothers', etc.

The eight-episode season will air on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at 9 pm ET on HGTV and will see the sisters and co-hosts embark on a journey to fix families’ property disasters. Kirsten is in charge of construction and design, while Lindsey is in charge of logistics and insurance. The team can assess the damage and create a full renovation plan to restore homes to their original states using their unique combination of skills. Where was 'Renovation 911' filmed?

The upcoming HGTV series 'Renovation 911' will show the journey of Kirsten and Lindsey as they restore homes after they have faced some tough disasters. The sisters are co-owners of the Plymouth-based family business, Ungerman, and have been in the business for 20 years. Since the dynamic duo and their company is based in Minneapolis, the show was also filmed there. 

The press release of the upcoming HGTV series revealed, "Renovation 911 will follow emergency restoration experts and sisters, Kirsten Meehan and Lindsey Uselding, as they rescue homes in Minneapolis that have recently experienced unexpected and tragic property disasters. Kirsten and Lindsey will race to the scene to assess the damage, reassure the homeowners and develop a plan for a full restoration and renovation. With warmth, humor, empathy, and special expertise, the duo will help clients see past distress and create completely transformed dream homes that are better than before."



 

What can you expect from 'Renovation 911' Season 1? 

The Season 1 of the series will be co-hosted by Minneapolis-based sisters Kristen and Lindsey. Throughout the season, they will assist families affected by fires, crashes, floods, fallen trees, and other natural disasters. According to the episode description, the series premiere will feature Lindsey and Kirsten rebuilding a family's kitchen, living room, and garage, all of which were destroyed by a raging fire.

They'll also look into a house that has a gaping hole from a car crash and try to save a client's flooded living room and basement after a washing machine hose leak. There will also be a role reversal later in the season as Lindsey will become a client after a hail storm will hit home.

'Renovation 911' will premiere on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at 9 pm ET on HGTV.  You can also stream it on Discovery+
