'Faraway' ending explained: Does Zeynep start living in Croatia? Netflix romcom ends on a hopeful note

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Netflix's original movie 'Faraway' is officially out now and the movie offers a lot of wonderful moments. The movie is perfect to watch on International Women's Day. Written by Jane Ainscough and Alex Kendall and directed by Vanessa Jopp, the movie stars Naomi Krauss as Zeynep Altin, Goran Bogdan as Josip Cega, Adnan Maral as Ilyas Altin, Bahar Balci as Fia Altin, Artjom Gilz as Conrad and Davor Tomic as Drazen Cega.
'Faraway' follows the story of an overworked and tired woman, Zeynep, who takes a journey to a house that her mother has left for her in her will. Fed up with her cheating husband, resentful daughter and opinionated father, her mother's death was the final straw after which she decides to go on a solo trip to Croatia, where her mother was born. What started as a sad trip to sell her mother's house, becomes a heartfelt journey of self-growth and healing which leads to liberation and finding herself. The complete ending for the movie, however, left us with a few questions. Does Zeynep start living in Croatia and start a restaurant on the island?

Did Zeynep start living in Croatia?
When Zeynep arrives in Croatia, she is distraught. She has no clue as to what to do next after she leaves her family behind. She then decides to commercialize the house that her mother left for her and sell it. However, the former owner of the house and the owner of the land that surrounds the house, Josip Cega, opposes her idea. Josip wants to live with nature and preserve the house.
Soon, Zeynep starts taking to the island's pristine beauty and starts to understand Josip's concept. Zeynep even finds love in Josip, after she is left heartbroken by her husband. This leads to the independence she never had before and she refuses to sell the house, even after she got a massive bid of almost a million euros. She finally finds her home through her mother. And after the entire her family chases her down to Croatia, she takes the bold decision of living by herself and allows only her daughter, Fia, to stay at the house however long she needs. This ends her relationship with her husband, who tries to win her back after cheating on her. She goes back to her newfound love, Josip. In the final moments of the movie, we see Zeynep's daughter leaving for Italy with her father trying to win back his girlfriend, Louisa.
Does Zeynep start a restaurant on the island?
Surrounded by nature, Zeynep would most likely start a new life on the island. She could even expand her family business by running a restaurant on the island. Since Josip has experience working in a restaurant on the island and knows most of the people, it makes it easier for the couple to do so. Besides, she can learn her mother tongue, Croatian, while being there. She already knows some of the locals and has learnt to drive the motorboat herself. After she fixed a window in her house, Zeynep is all set for the life she always wanted to live, restaurant or no restaurant.
For now, the world is Zeynep's oyster and she has found the freedom she did not have in her stifling marriage, amid all the burdening responsibilities. She had started living for herself and in the process, she reconnected with her daughter.
