LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Team up rangers because it's Morphin Time! The original rangers are going to reunite for an upcoming special on Netflix. 'Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always' is extra special as it marks the 30th anniversary of the first and original 'Power Rangers', that aired on Fox in 1993 and was titled 'Mighty Morphin Power Rangers'.

The upcoming Netflix special will bring back most of the original rangers, including David Yost as Blue Ranger Billy Cranston, Walter E Jones as the first Black Ranger Zack Taylor, Barbara Goodson as Rita Repulsa, Catherine Sutherland as the second Pink Ranger, Steve Cardenas as the second Red Ranger, Karan Ashley as the second Yellow Ranger and Johnny Yong Bosch as the second Black Ranger. The upcoming special also has new cast members including Charlie Kersh starring as Minh, the teenage daughter of the original Yellow Ranger Trini Kwan, who was played by the late Thuy Trang. The special will also pays tributes to both Trang and Jason David Frank, the late actor who played Green Ranger Tommy Oliver.

'Once a ranger, always a ranger'

The trailer for the upcoming special has dropped. The synopsis of the upcoming Netflix special reads, "In Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always, 30 years after the wise and powerful Zordon formed the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the team comes face-to-face with a familiar threat from the past. In the midst of a global crisis, they are called on once again to be the heroes the world needs. Inspired by the legendary mantra from the franchise 'Once a Ranger, always a Ranger,' Once & Always reminds everyone when you become a Ranger, you are always a part of the Ranger family and always welcome." 



 

'WE ARE THERE DAY 1!'

Immediately after the trailer was released, fans flooded the internet with their happy responses. A fan tweeted, "Me, a grown ass man, fully enjoying the chessiness." Another fan tweeted, "Movie night with my nephews on lock." Another fan added, "WE ARE THERE DAY 1!" 



 



 



 

Another fan chimed in, "I’m down for this!! My son will be stoked on it too. I think the rangers growing with the generations who first got into them is really cool.
