In the past, the K-pop label P Nation was dubbed the "redemption label" of the Korean music industry. Jessi, who has never fit the demure, polite K-pop idol mold, became the first idol under P Nation alongside Psy, who launched the label after leaving YG Entertainment. Soon after that, Cube Entertainment's HyunA and Dawn (formerly Edawn of Pentagon) exited their labels and also joined P Nation after all hell broke loose when they revealed they were dating. The label's artists were all unconventional idols who 'broke' K-pop conventions and fans wanted other faves 'wronged' by the K-pop industry to join the label too.

But now, it seems like P Nation is being called out for not doing a good enough job for their artists. A few weeks ago, Jessi announced her exit from P Nation which got Jebbies (fans of Jessi) talking about how the label never took her career seriously. Despite being with the label for many years, fans pointed out how Jessi had never released a full-length album. Now, fans of HyunA (Hyuna) are pointing out that the same thing is happening with her too.

Fans upset with the lack of promotions for Hyuna's 'Nabillera'

Hyuna made a comeback with her eighth mini-album, 'Nabillera' which was released on July 20. As well received as the album was, fans expressed their displeasure with the label, claiming that they were 'mismanaging' Hyuna. Being one of P Nation's most popular K-pop idols, fans are unhappy that the label is not taking Hyuna's wishes seriously. For as long as fans can remember, they knew that Hyuna has always wanted to release a full-length album.

Despite her wish, Hyuna has only been releasing mini-albums with five or fewer tracks over her last few years with the label. Moreover, Hyuna's fans are also stating that the label is not doing enough to promote her recent comeback album, 'Nabillera'. Hyuna's album was released within a week of it being first announced, leaving very little time for promotions. Fans allege that P Nation did not hype Hyuna's comeback, like any other label would for their artists, as they are aware that Hyuna can sell out albums despite limited promotions.

'I really don't understand P Nation'

Fans are sharing their disappointment with P Nation on Twitter as one fan said, "Something is definitely fishy with the pnation and hyuna situation. how do we go from her being excited about a 15 track full album to her getting a rushed mini with less than a week of promo all within the span of a month? it just doesn’t make sense." They continued, "If it were health issues (which it’s not since hyuna has said herself that she’s doing well) pnation would have said something like they did when good girl had to be cancelled. I just don’t get it." One fan said, "I love her is like a soft queen however i think hyuna is preparing for a full album."

One fan said, "I really don't understand PNation, they announced this HyunA comeback in less than 10 days, even though it's a mini album and now they say that this will be the last week of promotion???" One fan hoped, "Maybe they r preparing for the full album?" A fan responded, "Even if thats true, hyuna had 17 months in hiatus... pn should gave her or the mini album or the full album during that time to avoid this." One fan said, "Even if hyuna’s full album might be released after this, the promotion is just too short? if it’s a pre release into her full album, why did they give it shitty promotions when this is the album you NEED to promote in order for people to follow along with her into the full album."

Another fan said, "Hyuna is having a cb after 17 months with her FAVORITE album and the promotion period is only a week?? is this a joke? and i dont care if hyuna will have a full album after this, pnation should have planned both album with great promotion to make sure both cb would be successful." One fan said, "So the full album that hyuna spoiled herself was dropped with no statement and now she has only 5 days of promo. for an artist who has been in the industry for 15 years and is one of the biggest female soloists. how is this okay or normal?"
