LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA:  The Chris Pine starring upcoming fantasy adventure comedy film is directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, the duo behind the story of 'Spider-Man: Homecoming'. They also co-wrote the screenplay with Michael Gilio from a story by Chris McKay. It is ideally based on the tabletop role-playing game 'Dungeons & Dragons,' it is set in the Forgotten Realms campaign setting and has no connections to the film trilogy released between 2000 and 2012. 

The feature casts Chris Pine as Edgin the Bard, Michelle Rodriguez as Holga the Barbarian, Rege-Jean Page as Xenk the Paladin, Justice Smith as Simon the Sorcerer, Sophia Lillis as Doric, a tiefling Druid, Hugh Grant as Forge Fitzwilliam the Rogue, Daisy Head as a Red Wizard of Thay, Jason Wong as Dralas along with Chloe Coleman and Rylan Jackson. Similarly, cast members from the 'Dungeons & Dragons' web series, 'Critical Role' will also make cameo appearances in the film.

A new clip revealed on the official Twitter page of IGN during the fan fest 2023 shows the hilarious communion between the thieves and gives viewers a glimpse of the epic adventure the feature will go on. 



 

In the clip above, Simon casts a spell on the grave of a long-dead soldier who can explain to the party what happened during the events of an ancient battle. However, the situation proves difficult for Edgin, when it is revealed the party must be careful about what words they choose around the dead man due to the spell's unclear rules. 

'Can’t lie this looks mad fun'

Fans found it extremely funny although they were disappointed by the previous trailers, this exclusive funny clip from the movie gave them hope. A fan said, "Alright, I'm sold." A fan wrote, "can’t lie this looks mad fun," while another added, "Ngl, I laughed at this and I expected this to be cringe." A fan shared, "I can’t wait to see this movie. It looks fun and interesting." Safe to say, fans loved it and are eagerly waiting for it. 'Dungeon and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves' bows into theaters on March 31.
