LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Prime Video's latest series 'Fallout' has blown our minds and how! Created by Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan, 'Fallout' is a live-action take on the popular video game franchise first delivered in 1997.

Fans of the video game have been keeping their fingers crossed, anxiously awaiting to see if the series would uphold its legacy. With high expectations, Prime Video took a bold leap and delivered an epic series, leaving us spellbound.

The Prime Video series depicts the aftermath of a nuclear attack and follows Lucy MacLean's journey through the haunting wasteland of Los Angeles.

Those who aren't acquainted to the 'Fallout world' may take a while to grasp. Though the initial episode dives straight into the mysteries, the second and third episodes may feel slow. It's around the fourth episode when the series truly starts to intrigue you.

When the narrative shifts from finding Hank MacLean to bigger conspiracies at play, the interest automatically builds up. The final three episodes make up for the earlier pacing, rewarding your patience with a compelling storyline.

Recently, AMC's post-apocalyptic drama 'The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live' concluded in five episodes. Since both the series belong to the same genre, we are bound to compare them.

While 'The Ones Who Live' is high on emotional quotient, 'Fallout' doesn't fall flat either. Additionally, 'Fallout' outshines the AMC series with its gripping finale.

'Fallout' makes strong commentary on capitalism

'Fallout' cleverly comments on American patriotism and capitalism while navigating a morally complex world with diverse factions and ideologies.

Its storytelling emphasizes the risks of authoritarianism and unchecked power without pushing a specific political agenda. This deeper thematic exploration adds a new layer of meaning to the series, making it more engaging.

Despite addressing sensitive topics like capitalism and communism, 'Fallout' manages to maintain a balanced approach, ensuring it resonates well with today's audiences.

Aaron Moten emerges as a star in Prime Video's 'Fallout'

The series has three protagonists- Ella Purnell as Lucy MacLean, Aaron Moten as Maximus, and Walton Goggins as The Ghoul. Each of them belong to a different world, yet their paths connect profoundly.

Ella Purnell beautifully portrays Lucy as a beautiful, sensitive, and naive vault dweller while being a warrior in her own capacity. Walton Goggins as The Ghoul/Cooper Howard has a strong on-screen presence as his character navigates through pre and post-apocalypse.

However, for us, it is Aaron Moten, who emerges as the star in the series. His inner conflict depicted since the pilot episode resonates with us the most, with a beautifully crafted character arc. His portrayal of fears, troubled childhood, and chase of power simultaneously has been shaped masterfully.

To sum it up, 'Fallout' is a must-watch, exceeding our expectations. Even if you're not familiar with 'the video game's world, it stands out as a fantastic series in its own regard.
