'Eye For An Eye': Release date, plot, cast, trailer and all you need to know about the Spanish movie on Netflix
Titled as 'Quien A Hierro A Mata' in Spanish, 'Eye for An Eye' is a dark, twisted tale of revenge which will explore the life of a retired drug lord, his family, a humble nurse, and how they all come together to tackle the Columbian cartel.
Release Date
The movie released in the theaters across Spain on August 30, 2017. But you can catch it on Netflix as the streaming service drops it on January 15, 2020.
Plot
Mario is an extraordinary man, but living in a humble village on the Galician coast, in a retirement home, where he works as a nurse. He is loved by everyone in the home.
And then he meets Antonio Padin, the best narco in the region, recently released from prison who becomes a new entrant at the residence. Mario does his best to make Antonio feel at home.
Antonio has two sons, Kike and Tono, who take care of the family affairs after their father’s retirement. An operation gone wrong puts Kike in prison, with the family owing a large debt to the Columbian cartel. Tono seeks Mario's help to convince his father to absorb the debt but Mario has other plans.

Luis Tosar aka, Luis López Tosar is a Spanish actor, known for 'Cell 211' (2009), 'Sleep Tight' (2011) and 'Take My Eyes' (2003)
Late actor and writer, Xan Cejudo was known for 'Blanca Madison' (2000), 'El comisario' (1999) and 'Fendetestas' (1975). He died on September 27, 2018, and 'Eye For An Eye' was his last movie shot.
Ismail Martinez is a Spanish actor known for his work on 'Talk to Her' (2002), 'All About My Mother' (1999) and 'The Day of the Beast' (1995).
Enric Auquer aka Enric Auquer Sardà is a Spanish actor, known for his appearances in 'Perfect Life' (2019) and 'Story Man'.
Showrunner
'Eye For An Eye' is directed by Paco Plaza. He is known for his earlier directorial venture 'Veronica', which was critically acclaimed.
The screenplay is written by Juan Galiñanes and Jorge Guerricaechevarría (‘Cell 211’, ‘El Niño’, ‘To steal from a thief’) and the movie is produced by Vaca Films.
