EXPLAINER: All about Brandi Glanville scandal threatening to bring down Bravo and House Of Andy Cohen
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Brandi Glanville has accused Bravo executive Andy Cohen of alleged sexual harassment in a bombshell new legal letter acquired by DailyMail.com and delivered by her attorneys to NBC, Shed Media, and Warner Bros on February 22.
This comes after her attorney claimed she was allegedly "used and abused by NBC, Bravo, Warner Bros, and Shed Media" in an explosive new court letter threatening a lawsuit, accusing the network of "hiding evidence" that would vindicate her image.
The 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' alum has vowed to "wage a public reputational war" against the network after they allegedly "silenced" her following sexual assault charges made against Brandi by her 'The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip' co-star Caroline Manzo.
Continuing her conflict with NBC, Brandi now says that an "obviously inebriated" Andy sent her a video of himself indicating he intended to have sex with another Bravo star and offered her to witness the act over FaceTime in 2022.
Sorry, Bravo, but, to quote The Smiths' great song from 39 years ago, that joke is no longer amusing. Only hours after Brandi's attorneys wrote a scathing letter to Bravo owners NBCUniversal, Warner Bros Discovery, and Shed Media alleging Andy sexually abused their client, the 'Watch What Happens Live!' host has responded.

What did Andy Cohen say to Brandi Glanville?
Andy has responded to the alleged charges of sexual harassment brought by Real Housewives star Brandi. On Thursday, former 'RHOBH' star Brandi accused the 'Watch What Happens Live' host of sexual assault.
In court documents acquired by The Blast, Brandi stated that she felt "disgusted" and "trapped" by Andy after he allegedly expressed his desire to sleep with the Bravo star, which he claimed was a "joke."
Bradi's attorneys stated in the legal letter that, "Ms Glanville herself has been a victim of sexual harassment at Bravo by none other than Andy Cohen. In a video sent by Mr Cohen to Ms Glanville in 2022, Mr Cohen—appearing obviously inebriated—boasted of his intention to sleep with another Bravo star that night while thinking of her and invited her to watch via Facetime."
"Mr Cohen was Ms Glanville’s boss at the time and exercised complete and total control over her career. This was an extraordinary abuse of power that left Ms Glanville feeling trapped and disgusted. It is inconceivable that Mr Cohen remains in his post in spite of this behavior and harkens back to the bad old days of Matt Lauer and NBC News when profits were prioritized over people."
Matt was sacked from NBC's Today in 2017 following repeated sexual misconduct allegations from women. Andy quickly responded and apologized for his conduct.
On X, Andy stated, "The video shows Kate Chastain and I very clearly joking to Brandi. It was absolutely meant in jest, and Brandi’s response clearly communicated she was in on the joke. That said, it was totally inappropriate and I apologize."

What happened between Brandi Glanville and Caroline Manzo?
Caroline, a star on 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey,' made news in 2023 when she claimed Brandi allegedly kissed her without her consent and even "forced her vagina against her back" while filming the Housewives spin-off program in Morocco.
Caroline filed a lawsuit against Bravo last month, claiming that the production pushed Brandi to sexually assault her.
Is Brandi Glanville suing NBC and Andy Cohen?
Brandi's attorneys chastised Bravo and its affiliated corporations for her depiction in a recent season of a Real Housewives spinoff series. They also discussed her prior interaction with Caroline, a conversation that generated controversy.
Brandi's charges against Andy pale in comparison to the startling assertions made by her counsel in the new lawsuit letter. In it, Brandi's lawyer claimed she was "used and abused by NBC, Bravo, Warner Bros., and Shed Media" and accused the network of allegedly "hiding evidence" that may vindicate her character.
Brandi has vowed to "wage a public reputational war" against the network after they allegedly "silenced" her following sexual assault charges made against her by her 'RHUGT' co-star Caroline.
In a fresh court demand, Brandi's counsel appears to indicate Caroline is lying, asserting that no assault occurred, as they demand that the network reveal "all existing documents and data" related to the charges.
"Ms Glanville and Ms Manzo engaged in 'dirty dancing,' flirting, and playful touching," the letter states. "Throughout the night, they shared a couple of kisses. We have heard about a supposed 'bathroom incident' through press leaks, but Shed Media has repeatedly refused to allow Ms Glanville or her counsel to see the footage in question; there is no truth to any allegations of impropriety."
The letter added, "It is apparent some allegation was made; however, neither the nature nor the source of that allegation has been clarified by NBC, Shed Media, or Warner Bros. We can glean from the press coverage—seeded by malicious and deliberate leaks—that Ms Manzo formally accused Ms Glanville of sexual misconduct and that Ms Glanville was sent home as a result."
Brandi's legal team maintains her innocence, claiming that the TV star was never alone with Caroline and that her co-star "did not manifest a lack of consent at any point."
In the letter, Brandi's representatives assert that Caroline is responsible for "feeding a defamatory narrative" to the media and acting as the origin of press leaks concerning the charges.
In a statement released with DailyMail.com, attorney Bryan Freedman encouraged more "victims" of Bravo and NBC to contact their team and join the "fight" against the network.
The letter underlined Brandi's health difficulties after Caroline's claims became public, and stated that she was in "dire straits" after Bravo attempted to "humiliate and ruin her publicly."
The reality personality has openly shared her experience of facial deformation caused by stress-induced angioedema—a condition characterized by swelling beneath the skin.
Brandi's team accuses the network of having a "reckless disregard for the mental and emotional health" of employees, claiming that Brandi has been treated as a "sacrificial lamb" and has suffered "social and economic death."
They are seeking evidence from the network's servers, storage systems, personal computers, and portable devices. The court letter warns that "Ms Glanville is uniquely positioned to reveal more revelations" and that she is one of thousands of celebrities who have filed lawsuits against the network in recent years."
