'Evil' Episode 6 spoilers tease a possible breach between Kristen and David as his faith gets shaken and jealousy takes over
After creepy virtual assistants and disturbing kids terrifying the world of CBS' 'Evil', it is finally time for mediums and prophets to take center stage on the show's upcoming episode six titled '790'.
According to the official synopsis of the episode, "When Kristen, David and Ben are asked to assess the veracity of a local prophetess, they are shaken when they see one of her visions come to life. David struggles with jealousy when he sees god speaking with the prophetess."
It will be interesting to see the dynamics of psychologist Dr. Kristen Bouchard (Katja Herbers) and her partner in cases — the priest-in-training — David Acosta (Mike Colter) now that an external factor so entirely detached from the case question David's faith.
Being constantly questioned by Kristen's skepticism in demonic possessions, considering she is a lapsed Catholic, has to be hard enough for a man whose only proof arrives in the form of "miracles" that Kristen's science and logic aims at debunking.
And now, considering the two are approaching a connection that goes beyond professional boundaries, this new hit at his faith might also impact the prospect of "drinks" they are about to indulge in.
For Kristen, as she learns more about the validity of demonic possessions, it is an evolution she undergoes from being a skeptic to a believer.
Sadly, the experience of newer revelations in his line of profession isn't turning out to be a happy one altogether for David.
While we might get to see the proof of a god or an eternal figure communicating with prophets, the fact that the same communication is not flowing between David and his god is bound to take a hit at whatever the man believes in.
That's expected to cause some breach owing to a feeling of dejection, right? 'Evil' episode six airs on Thursday, October 30, at 10 pm only on CBS.
