From openly threatening her co-stars who asked her any questions to displaying no signs of remorse or sympathy, 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star Erika Jayne seems to be on a mission to become the ultimate super-villain of the 'Real Housewives' franchise. After being dragged over her alleged involvement in her estranged husband and disgraced lawyer Tom Girardi's money embezzlement case, the housewife has been pretty touchy about the topic.

Though 'RHOBH' fans were willing to give her the benefit of doubt and listen to her side of the story, but after watching her increasingly erratic behavior with each passing episode fans are slowly changing their mind about her. Her latest faux pas on the recently aired episode of 'RHOBH' was her explanation as to why she wasn't showing any compassion to the victims and their families. From blaming 'legal situation' to accusing the victims of lying about not being paid monetary compensation, Erika said pretty damaging things that didn't sit well with fans.

The housewife can be heard saying "I have been dragged through the mud for something that I didn't do, never happened." When her co-star Garcelle Beauvais pointed out that she was at the receiving end of the criticism from the audience on account of not showing any compassion, Erika once again resorted to getting defensive about it. So she said, "When you're in a legal situation like that every word counts, we are not even sure that there were people that weren't paid." Erika's insinuating that the victims could be lying about not receiving the compensation money left the other housewives completely tongue-tied. Dorit Kemsley tried getting clarification on what Erika meant by asking her if there was a chance that the victims were lying. Erika replied saying, "There's a chance."

'RHOBH' fans were shocked and angry after watching Erika's insensitive reaction. A fan tweeted, "Erika: "Every word counts." Also Erika: "The victims are possibly liars." This woman is a pure SOCIOPATH. #RHOBH." "We all know Erika watched The Housewife and the Hustler… the victims are very real Cruella Jayne smh #rhobh #erikajayne," wrote a fan. "This Erika bish was already going to hell. Now she's adding insult to embezzlement? Wow, she is a special kind of evil. Victim blaming the victims. Victims of a plane disaster and then victims of her husband's fraud. And she is smearing THEM. I just can't. #RHOBH," commented a shocked fan. "Erika got offended by sutton calling her a liar because shes a “victim” but shes calling the real victims liars?? #RHOBH," a fan pointed out the irony.

Another fan shared, "So erika CAN’T show compassion for tom’s victims but she CAN call them liars? got it. #RHOBH." "Okay, wait. Wait, wait, wait. Erika cannot say she feels terrible for the victims + hopes what Tom is accused of isn’t true, but she CAN say it’s possible some of the victims were paid to lie about being victims? And that won’t get her into legal hot water? Sounds legit. #RHOBH," seconded a fan. Another annoyed fan declared, "Saying the victims are lying??! Erika is pure trash. #RHOBH #BravoTV."

In October 2018, Indonesia's Lion Air plane plunged into the Java sea leaving all 189 passengers and the crew inside dead. A few family members of the crash victims appointed Tom Girardi's firm- Girardi Keese to represent them to be compensated fairly by  Boeing for their personal tragedy. Tom Girardi personally took on the case and managed to secure a massive payout for the victims' families from Boeing. The money was wired directly to the law firm by Boeing. Although the airplane manufacturer wired huge sums of money as compensation for the victims' families, the families reportedly received only a small portion of it. Despite several repeated follow-ups and not getting any update from the law firm, the victims' families decided to sue Girardi for embezzling the money from them. Alongside Tom even Erika got dragged into it as the lawyer reportedly invested huge sums of money into the housewife's business. This ended up creating the narrative that the Girardi stole money from orphans and widows to fund their lavish lifestyle.
